2 out of 5 eggsNo fuss no muss

Pros: It works as expected. Quite quite. The only complaint. Newegg discontinued it the next day after I bought it. Other than that it is OK.

Cons: Not worth what I paid.

Other Thoughts: Read all the reviews before you buy.

4 out of 5 eggssilence is golden

Pros: incredibly quiet cooler, even at full speed, its almost inaudible. really easy installation on AMD boards as well. i have never installed a full tower cooler like this before, but it was incredibly easy. dropped my cpu temps down to 30 degrees from 40 (stock cooler)

Cons: the fan speed ajustment knob is awkward, theres no good way to mount it so it can be easily accessed without leaving your case open, you pretty much just have to find a speed your comfortable with and leave it there.

Other Thoughts: installation on an AMD board is easy, but the fan will point towards the TOP of your case, not the back.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Cooling - Very Quiet

Pros: This cooler dropped the temps on my over clocked E6550 @3.5 by 8-10 degrees Celsius at idle and over 15 degrees Celsius under load with the fan speed set at its lowest setting!!! Stock cooler - idle 36-38 load 68-70 Thermaltake CLP0539 – idle 28 load 54-56 after 8 hours on Prime. But that’s not even the best part. The best part is that it is QUIET. I have an Antec 300 case with 2 Silenx IXP-74-11fans and 1 Silenx IXP-76-18 as well as a Zalman VF700-ALCU 2 Ball VGA COOLER. All set to 50% by a NZXT Sentry-2 5.25" Touch Screen fan controller and this thing is quieter than any of them. Now if I could just get my hard drive to quite down…

Cons: It is large and makes getting to anything on the top half of the motherboard a chore. The fins have somewhat sharp edges… (I am really having to try to find something wrong with this thing)

Other Thoughts: I have used a several fans on this as well as different builds and this one rates right at the top. The only this I have used that was quieter was the Noctua NH-U9B 92mm SSO but I didn’t get as good of cooling results from the Noctua good yes but not as good. I should also note that I now use Arctic Silver CMQ-22G paste on all of my builds. I have consistently noticed a 2-5 degree Celsius difference between CMQ-22G over Silver 5.

Current build: Antec 300 Case – Gigabyte P35 ATX Motherboard – Inter E6550 CPU at 3.5GHz – 8 Gigs Kingston Hyper X 1066 Memory – BFG 8800GT Over-clocked to 750MHz – 2 WD 320 Gig hard drives in raid 0.

5 out of 5 eggsVery Nice Fan!

Pros: Installation was quite easy and the instructions were clear. Came with all the gear necessary to install on whatever compatible CPU you had. Absolutely silent and cools very well.

Cons: The only con is something that is my own fault. Like the guy before me said, this fan is HUGE. I didn't do any measurements before my purchase so i had to hammer out the curve on my side cover.

Other Thoughts: Great fan, great price, got here in three days. Worth the effort to install.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat

Pros: Excellent cooler. Very quiet, relatively light in weight, mirror finished surface and straightforward attachment (somewhat). Rubber washers used instead of spring-type mounts, but seem to be fine for the job/cost savings. Dropped temps almost 20C! from stock cooler(from 70 to low 50's and even lower on mildly OC'd i7 @3.3 Ghz, stock voltage).

Cons: Height of unit just barely fits.. check this, or modify your side cover.
