4 out of 5 eggsGreat fan for the price

Cool looking

Cons: With 4 of them it gets a little loud. I never had an issue till I decided to move the pc on to my desk to help cut down on dust.

Other Thoughts: I've had the same four of these chuggin along for 2-3 years now. 2 of them have 2 out of 4 leds burnt out while the other 2 still look new. These are by far the longest lasting 80mm fan I have used. All of them still hold their original rmps and I believe they would last a lot longer but I am replacing due to noise.

2 out of 5 eggsBad Wiring

Pros: I bought two-ones working.

Cons: The other one had all three wires come off ater 2 days of use. I think I know why they are not selling these anymore.

Other Thoughts: Should have paid more and gone for better quality.

4 out of 5 eggsLasted A Week

Pros: It lights up great. Nice blue and not too bright.

Cons: The wiring came off. Two of the three wires came off the solder points on the fan. To be honest though, it was my fault as I had the fan on the window cover and it fell off the computer when I opened it. I should have been a little more careful, but now I need to solder them on.

Other Thoughts: To not have this happen again, I'll secure the wires alot better just before the connection, maybe superglue the main wire right before the connection. Nice lights though. The other ones still doing fine. Thermaltake may want to add a little more solder.

4 out of 5 eggsVery good for the price

Pros: At 21dBA & 27CFM, performs as well as the more expensive G***D. Excellent LED's. And a unusually long fully sleeved cable along with Molex adapter. So very good value for the money.

Cons: Sleeve bearing. Will probably last a third or less as long as the G***D or the N****a, so factor the TOC into your decision.

Other Thoughts: Frankly, I chose this fan over the above 2 alternatives solely for the blue LED's. The CFM is also true on this fan, unlike others which claim higher CFM (often along with lower dBA) than the fans actually have. A solid buy.

5 out of 5 eggsOOOOOPS!

Pros: It works great as an exhaust with a system that has a 120mm intake, a PCI slot exhaust, as well as a a rear 80mm exhaust. Dropped temps another 5 degrees Celsius, and were stellar temps to begin with. Any colder, i'll use it for cool drinks. ;v) I highly suggest purchasing filters with your fans! Dramatic reduction in dust inside the machine since using filtration! Easy to remove and clean as well! If you want system stability, and longevity, keep it cool, and keep it clean!

Cons: Wrong color people, i ordered blue, got green, so now my system will be aqua-marine i guess? Won't deduct any eggs, as customer service worked something out with me. CANNOT beat Newegg customer service!

Other Thoughts: Thermaltake is a great brand, their stuff always works, and they as few other companies these days stand behind their equipment. Cords come encompassed in cloth binding to keep everything neat! Nice touch!

5 out of 5 eggsLov'em

Pros: I bought these 3 weeks ago and I am running them on an ASUS motherboard, that has a heat/fan setup. Specs say 2,000 RPM +or- 10%. If I max mine out the ASUS "AI Suite" utility reports one at about 2400 RPMs and the second one at 2308 RPMs. With this ASUS AI Suite I can adjust the RPM's to change with temperature changes. Like COOL.

Been doing computers for 29 years now. Built my first one in 1988 - I don't do reviews, this is only my third one ever, so that shows I am impressed with these fans (I am also impressed with my new ASUS "P7P55 WS SC" motherboard - which will be my forth review ever).

Cons: NONE that I can see so far. FANs? What's the big deal? Two months ago I had one go OUT and FRIED my CPU! LITTLE THINGS can be VERY important!

Other Thoughts: They come with a 3-4 pin adapter and some NEAT rubber mounts to use in place of screws. They come with LEDs, in three colors (very nice) blue, red and green.

Newegg does not have the warranty listed in the specs but it is TWO years, many fans are only one year.

No dig for Newegg, I cannot imagine how many people they must employ JUST to input all of the data for the THOUSANDs of products that they sell, & BEST Customer Service EVER .... SIX EGGs for Newegg ******

5 out of 5 eggsCool Fan

Pros: Cool Blue Lights
Moves Sufficent Amount of Air
3-Pin power connector with adapter. Had to use adapter to plug in to main power connector as my mobo only has 1 system fan connector.

Cons: Noise- Slightly noisey. Have it mounted on rubber cushions. Probably caused by my case. I have a Q-Pack case which is small setting on my desk. Not as loud as the CPU running on High. But Noticalble expecially with a 120mm rear exahaust.

Other Thoughts: Enjoy the Cool Blue Lights.
Running as an Intake Fan.
Replaced original case fan. Needed more air flow since I overclocked the CPU.
Dropped Case temps slightly.

5 out of 5 eggsA good 80MM fan

Pros: Well the name says alot. This fan replaced another fan on an Asus Triton 77 CPU Cooler that was going bad after a year or so. This fan is silent and looks like glass. I also bought two of the 120MM version of this fan and they work good to. So all in all I am very happy with this fan. Also I love how bright it is to. It goes great with everything other blue thing I have in my Case.

Cons: None at this time.

3 out of 5 eggsThey work I guess

Pros: They work and light up blue, an ugly blue though. The cords are neatly wrapped.

Cons: the color blue of the LEDs is ugly. Its a very pale blue, I was expecting a nice bold blue somewhat like my Apevias. I know that no two brands have the same color LEDs. The way they have you mount these is terrible. they give you long bolts with nuts. if you're trying to use them as front intake fans good luck getting them mounted. You can't reach to put the nut on the bolt unless you take your HDDs out. My Apevias definitely move more air. These are not 2000 RPM. My Scythe fans just blow these both out of the water.

Other Thoughts: I bought two of these at a local store to increase airflow around my WD black 1TB 7200 RPM HDD. I have 3 different brands of fans in my computer. Thermaltake is my least favorite, aesthetically and functionally. Apevia fans move decent air, are beautiful to look at, and throw off UV light. If you're serious about cooling, however, I'd buy Scythe.
