5 out of 5 eggsImpressive cooling in a small package

Pros: Small enough to fit in a mini-ITX case, easy installation, very solid mounting hardware, better than expected cooling

Cons: The screws that go through the front fan to the radiator were too short to accommodate the rubber grommets which attach it to my case, but 1.5 inch 6-32 machine screws from the hardware store did the trick.

Other Thoughts: I installed this cooler on an AMD A10-7850K in a Lian Li PC-TU100 mini-ITX case, which was having overheating issues. I removed the front fan which came with the case, and had just barely enough room for the radiator and one of the two Thermaltake fans. Everything fit very snuggly in this tiny case, and I was thankful for the flexibility of the tubing.

Even with half the airflow it's supposed to have, the CPU is now running cooler than I thought possible. Previously, with an aftermarket heatsink and fan, the idle temperature was 45C, under light load it was 55C, and when gaming was constantly above 70C. Now, it idles at 30C, 35C under light load, and 45-50C while gaming. I don't think I'll ever go back to air cooling...

5 out of 5 eggsgreat deal

Pros: pump is quiet (more than I expected), not too hard to figure out the instructions if you follow the pics, awesome cooling with one fan installed (space limited)

Cons: may take a few tries to get the radiator screws aligned in tight quarters (no surprise)

Other Thoughts: didn't use the stock fans, had some Cougars lying around

4 out of 5 eggsNoisy

Pros: Has variable speed capability and runs very cool.

Cons: Noisy fans, not a air bubble in the line. With both fans running it is noisy.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: My first AIO liquid cooler for my first PC build, keeps my amd fx-8320 black edition @ 3.5 GHz at 10-15 C when idle and it never passes 40 C under full load.

Cons: Instructions were poopoo but I figured it out.

Other Thoughts: This this destroys everything, case closed.

4 out of 5 eggsGood alternative to giant air coolers!

Pros: -- Cools very well.
-- Installation was a breeze.
-- Fans rather quiet when running in silent mode.

Cons: -- Not as cold as dry ice.
-- Dual fans can be very loud in turbo mode.

Other Thoughts: I installed this cooler over an AMD FX-8350 in order to control the CPU temps better than with the stock CPU cooler. This product accomplished that goal very well. It effectively keeps the CPU from going much above 50C under full load, and keeps the CPU at roughly ambient temperature at idle. Gaming temps are between 40C and 50C. The radiator successfully pulls heat from the CPU and dumps it out of the rear of your case, keeping the CPU as well as other components very cool. I now have no concerns about heat or damage to my CPU whatsoever.

Note that I only run my CPU at stock or turbo speeds. For overclocking, you may wish to go with the Thermaltake 3.0 Pro or beyond, but for a normal user that wants to feel confident that their CPU is well cooled and protected from damage, this cooler will accomplish that easily.

Lastly, with my fan profile set to silent, the fan noise from this unit is quite acceptable. As temps increase, the fan speed increases, but the cooler itself prevents any major spikes which would cause the fans to be super noisy. When gaming or under normal loads this cooler will serve you very well!

5 out of 5 eggsWow !!!

Pros: This is a really nice inexpensive cooler for AMD over clocking. Running 48 MHZ on and A10 6800K and it runs at 48C with FAH running at full blast.

Cons: I have mine set up so that it pulls air from inside the case. Some people say I should reverse it and pull in the coolest air from outside the case. I would love to see the flames back and forth over _that_ discussion.

Other Thoughts: Mine seems to "saturate" at 55C. No matter what fan setting I use, it will never get over 55, but not get any cooler. I can run it at 1750 rpm and there is no difference from running wide cpu still stays at 55. No sure. Put it outside the case???? *(I have my CPU running at 4.8 GHz and it runs at a constant 48C at 1691 rpm).

5 out of 5 eggsThermalake Water 3.0

Pros: The unit was easy to install and so far I have no complaints. Using it in a gaming rig in my garage in south Florida where the temps get pretty high. The computer stays in the 37 degree range regardless. So far so good, I am happy with it.

Cons: none

5 out of 5 eggsPuts the Cool in Cooler

Pros: Keeps my AMD FX-8350 CPU running cool for hours under a full load. Even with my 12% overclock, and being in a hot room full of other computers.

Cons: Can be a bit of a pain to install, even more so if it's your very first build and you are really worried about breaking stuff. Look up guides on youtube if at all possible.

The fans, when using push/pull setup, can get a bit loud. Not a major con, and not worthy of loosing an egg over. Just have a good noise cancelling headset .

Doesn't bring home the Bacon?

4 out of 5 eggsGreat for the Price

Pros: Cools Better than the stock Intel heat sink
Comes with two fans for the radiator
Great price

Cons: Loud.
When using both fans they produced a ton of sound. I removed one of the fans and it runs at a tolerable level. I used the other fan as a case fan... so it didn't go to waste.

Installation was super easy until I had to put the back plate on. After messing around for 30 minutes I finally was able to bend the thin plastic enough so that it would line of with the screw holes.

5 out of 5 eggsWay better than my stock Intel i7-4771 cooler

Pros: 1. This is a massive improvement over my stock Intel i7-4771 cooler. I run BOINC distributed computing, and I'm able to run 4 cores at 100% without going over 60C. Before with the stock cooler, I would be forced to throttle down to 2/3 cores at 50-70% load to cap temperatures in the mid 60s.

2. My build is in a case with acoustic dampening foam, so the pump/fans noise is not bad at all. The 200mm front intake fan is much louder than any of the cooler components.

3. The pump in this unit uses a dual pulse signal for its RPM reading, so getting ~1450 rpm means the pump is running at full power/speed.

4. While the pump will always run at full speed (since it has only the 3rd RPM lead and no 4th PWM feedback lead), the supplied Thermaltake push/pull PWM fans are spinning at only ~ 850rpm to achieve this level of cooling.

5. Don't let the reviews of poor instructions deter you. If you ever challenged yourself by building a Lego set without the step-by-step walkthrough, this will be a total breeze. Otherwise, there are tons of online videos about assembling this unit, as well as the Water 2.0.

Cons: 1. None so far, though I have been running it for only a few weeks, so I hope it keeps up the performance.

Other Thoughts: Even though I don't have any other all-in-one or custom loop cooling to compare with, I am very pleased with the performance of this. I am running it fully stock with the preapplied Thermaltake TIM and push/pull PWM fans as well, so if you need that extra 10% there could be room for even more improvement with specialized radiator fans and better TIM.

I am somewhat meek to say I bought this from a Newegg B&M competitor due to an unbeatable price, though the community/reviewers on Newegg are top notch, so I figured I'd review on here.
