1 out of 5 eggs

This review is from: Thermaltake CL-F019-PL12RE-A 120mm Pure Series Quiet High Airflow Case Fan

Pros: free after rebate, can't complain too much.

Cons: But, it is very noisy.

Manufacturer Response:

Dear Customer,
The Pure 12 LED fan should be at 19.5 dBa. If your fan is “very” noisy, then there may be an issue or defect with the fan. Please contact Customer Service who will to have the fan replaced through warranty service.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat fan

This review is from: Thermaltake CL-F019-PL12RE-A 120mm Pure Series Quiet High Airflow Case Fan

Pros: Moves enough air for me to be satisfied.

Cant hear them

Temps on the mobo and other components are consistently good

The red LEDs look awesome mixed with blue :)

Got two for $7 a piece, and $0 after the $7 rebate :).

Thermaltake is a great brand for any component/peripheral, highly recommend their products to anyone.

Cons: 3 pin, not really a con to me, but others maybe.

Other Thoughts: I would recommend these to anyone, especially while they're on sale!

4 out of 5 eggsPrice was $0 after rebate..

This review is from: Thermaltake CL-F019-PL12RE-A 120mm Pure Series Quiet High Airflow Case Fan

Pros: Pretty quiet, emits a good amount of light and the flow is acceptable.

Cons: lower quality bearings and not the CFM that other fans may push/pull, but for the price you cannot go wrong

Other Thoughts: Utilizing these fans for cases (intake/exhaust) is a good idea, but as for actual direct cooling, you may want to put the extra money in and buy a Noctua. Don't get me wrong, I am happy with these fans (wish they were blue but the sale was on the red ones). I have one of these pulling air from the bottom of the case though and it works without issues. Good quality when it comes to cheaper fans, I would buy again if I needed more case fans, but I personally prefer having 140mm ones where possible and anymore I try to avoid LED's in fans unless it is a fan/showpiece.

No complaints with this product though, other than the missing MIR's when the order came. And lack of a packaging slip. That is not a problem for the manufacturer though.

4 out of 5 eggsCheap fan, looks neat.

This review is from: Thermaltake CL-F019-PL12RE-A 120mm Pure Series Quiet High Airflow Case Fan

Pros: -Works as advertised
-Quiet
-First LED fan in my case, so it makes it look pretty neat
-Came with screws to install

Cons: -Feels a bit cheap and fragile (you get what you pay for)
-Doesn't move a whole lot of air (stays quiet though)
-Screws felt like they could shatter the plastic fan case if I messed up installing

Other Thoughts: I got this free (with a mail in rebate). No risk involved for me (if I get the rebate back). Was only $7 otherwise, I might purchase more higher-end fans in the future. This isn't bad for starting builds.

4 out of 5 eggsGet what you pay for

This review is from: Thermaltake CL-F019-PL12RE-A 120mm Pure Series Quiet High Airflow Case Fan

Pros: -Silent
-Comes with 3-pin to molex adapter

Cons: None yet

Other Thoughts: I like this fan because it is silent and pushed the amount of air it says it does. Note that it doesn't actually move that much air, but it does say that in the specifications, so I can't knock off an egg for that. If you are looking for a silent fan to push some air, this is a good one. I don't think that it is worth the advertised $12.99 though, so wait for it to go on sale.
