Dont base your purchase on the first "2 star" review listed for this product !...
- Pros: EXCELLENT price. HIGH quality. Easy to install. Fits in a lot of cases that others will NOT. Any 120mm fans (I have tried 4 different now)seems to fit nicely on this ....
- Cons: As w/ ALL Liquid coolers .... Not just this one ... STill hard to bleed. I found a hand brake bleeder works best to prime before actually hooking up the hoses, then when hoses are terminated to finish with the bleeder (YES ... believe it or not ...A typical Automtive style cheap , $5.00 hand brake bleeder )
- Other Thoughts: I based my Reviw Title, "Don't base your purchase ..... "above " because in the desciption of the product not only does it tell you that it is a "RETAIL" product, but it also even shows you in the pics. that it comes in a Generic Brown Box. The person that must have given the reviewobviously didn't read enough of the product description.
If you can't figure out how to use this, You obviously need some assistance from someone who can anyway. For this price and the size and quality of this radiator, NEWEGG has done a great job to keep this in stock. I can't believe there are only a couple of reviws. This is the PERFECT item for ANYONE who is in the market to buid and install their own water cooled sysytem and can mount fans and hook up hoses. The possibilities w/ this Radiator for mounting/styles of fans/ and what type of pumps and cooling blocks to build your OWN system are ENDLESS! A ++++
Works great/Great deal
- Pros: These rads from Swiftech have been very good performers for me for over a year now. I started out with one and now I am running 4 in a single water cooling loop. All 4 have work perfect since day 1 ...with no leaks or problems of any kind. They are pretty thin, so they will fit in many cases without any problems. Because of their size and effectivness, these rads are worth the investment.
- Cons: Newegg does not include barbs with your purchase. Most other online etailers include or at least give you the option of purchasing barbs with your rad. But, to my knowledge, Newegg has always had the absolute lowest price of anybody else with this radiator.
- Other Thoughts: To give a general idea of how one and several of these rads perform in a single loop....I originally bought the Swiftech H20-220 GT kit and used it only on my core 2 quad Q6600/overclocked to 3.6ghz on a 780i motherboard. The vcore is at 1.5 volts and it idles around 27C and loads at around 55C. I eventually added a second Sw220 rad into the same loop, but it only dropped my temps an additional 2C. So, it appears to me that even one of these rads is plenty sufficient enough to handle the heat load for a hot quad. I now have four of these babies in that same loop, but I added 2 Gtx 280"s into the loop as well it everything is working great and cool. The graphics cards are both slightly overvolted(evga) to 1.25v and overclocked to 783core/1620shader/2700mem 24/7 and the idle temps are steady at 33C and under load playing crysis warhead(the most taxing game) they never rise above 44C. I'm happy with the overall performance. Now, 4 of these are not necessary, but it's the bomb!

Excellent choice for video cooling
- Pros: High flow rate, dual-pass design
Excellent cooling efficiency for price
- Cons: Not really a con but radiator does not come with barbs. I recommend using stainless steel or other metal 1/4" barbs with rubber gaskets as opposed to the standard plastic barbs from Swiftech.
- Other Thoughts: Purchased this radiator to specifically cool my GTX280 separate from my CPU cooling circuit. Installed on an isolated circuit with a Swiftech MCP655 pump, 2 x 120mm Scythe S-FLEX SFF221F fans, and a Koolance VID-428 block (w/Arctic MX-3 thermal paste). The radiator is rear mounted on the case with a MCB-120 "Radbox". At ambient room temp (18.3C) I'm getting an average idle coolant temp (temp sensor in coolant line) of 26.1C and a load temp of 31.4C (load = Crysis on high settings) using PC Ice coolant (Primochill). Fantastic performance considering the average load temp for a GTX280 on stock cooling is 75C! You could spend a lot more on radiators of similar design by the likes of Danger Den, Feser, etc. but doubt if you will get much better if any performance benefits.
Nice
- Pros: Heavy duty, solid build, just as good as any other more expensive name brand radiator from koolance or something.
- Cons: None.
- Other Thoughts: Screws were either too long or too short that came with the radiator to screw the fans on... so i had to take the long ones and cut them down with some dikes. Takes like 45 seconds. And to all the people complaining about it not coming with fittings... of course not. That depends on what size tubing you're getting. Just go to Koolance's website and buy some.
Very good radiator
- Pros: This thing cools really nicely and fits 2 120mm fans on either side of it. Comes with the hardware to mount the fans and radiator only.
- Cons: Does not come with a way to connect your tubes to the radiator or "barbs" So keep in mind you will be going to lowes or home depot to hunt down 1/4 barbs.
- Other Thoughts: 1/2 barbs threaded on one side are hard to find i had to compromise with 1/4 inch threaded connectors and just put the tubes over the threads this can cause leaks depending on your clamps, a piece of spare tiubing to give extra cushion does the trick

High Performance: Dual 120mm fan form factor doubles the surface area available for convection of the heat into the air compared to single 120mm fan designs. The Quiet Power design yields superior performance compared to competing products in the same class. Flat brass tubes and copper louvered fins, with brass plenum chambers and frame construction, for optimum thermal conductivity. Flat frame surface provides optimum seal to the fans. Low noise: Optimized for 120mm fans with low to medium air output. Fin density optimized to reduce air noise. Built-in plenum chamber.
Threaded hubs compatible with ¼" NPSM, BSPP, and G1/4 fittings using o-ring seals for maximum reliability, and compatibility with various tubing installations. Patent-pending Self purging plenum chambers design: when installed upright or on its side, air cannot accumulate in the plenum chambers. Threaded fan and case mounting holes for quick and repeated installations. Slim design to facilitate installation, and reduce bulk. No oxidation over time (compared to aluminum radiators). Beautiful and durable gloss acrylic paint finish. Competitive pricing with same class radiators (single row, 2 pass).
