2 out of 5 eggsDecent radiator, Poor Condition

Pros: This radiator serves up bare minimal flow restriction, and has great cooling capacity. The fin spacing is sparse enough that low speed fans can easily push or pull air through it making it ideal for quiet set ups. The brass tubes have very low thermal resistance, as I was impressed how fast it cooled off when I held it up to the AC vent.

The shroud\frame has enough clearance from the tubes and fins, that you shouldn't have too many issues with damaging them while trying to mount the radiator.

Cons: Normally, I would bore you guys with nit picky stuff like how the screws were loose inside the box, or how poor the paint job is, however my radiator showed up so dirty that the screws and such just aren't worth mentioning.

Besides smelling awful, the radiator was dusty, and even worse, there were lots of little black particles (paint chips perhaps?) inside the unit! I spent several hours cleaning and flushing out this radiator before I felt comfortable using it. Imagine if someone got this unit and didn't clean it out thoroughly before using it. These little chips could easily clog a water block or even damage the pump.

Other Thoughts: Hopefully, the condition in which I found my unit is a rare glitch, as quite frankly, I hold used garbage at garage sales to a higher standard than this "new" item. Now that I've gotten it cleaned, it is a decent radiator. Had it been cleaned, sealed and packaged correctly, I'd probably be giving it 4 eggs for the price.

2 out of 5 eggsOpenbox product sold as new!!!!!!

Pros: Shipped fast.

Cons: It is apparent this was an openbox item sold as new (whether this is on NEWEGG's or SWIFTECH'S part, I am not sure). To be honest, I assume this is SWIFTECH's doing, as it appears that the radiator has been 'repainted' to hide the damage and the fact that screws have already been driven through the holes. But the damage is obvious, and its cause is even more so. One side looks like the idiot that previously had this drove the screws way into the fins!!! THREE TIMES! I only gave this product two eggs because there is still a _chance_ that it may not leak and I won't need to waste my time with an RMA, but considering that it was already returned once, I highly doubt that it holds water. Or if it does, it has obviously been reconditioned. COME ON, THIS THING IS GOING TO BE SITTING ABOVE MY 1000W PSU, how do you expect me to trust this product after finding this?! I am really bummed now, and I haven't even gotten it home :(

Other Thoughts: Considering this is a product to be put into a computer--and in every likely hood the seller should consider such a computer being a huge investment, considering the system is in need of liquid cooling--and such product failure would undoubtedly cause catastrophic loss of hardware if the radiator were to be defective (not to mention DAMAGED), causes me to seriously question buying products from both newegg and swiftech. I am glad I looked this over before adding it to my loop! In the future I will be shopping elsewhere, and looking past swiftech products.

5 out of 5 eggs<drool>

Pros: This thing is a beast. Performance doesn't change noticeably from silent to LOUD, so I just keep it nice and silent with 100 CFM total airflow.

Low-back-pressure design allow air to pass freely, meaning less noise.

Louvered fins increases effectiveness of cooling area.

Dropped my temps about 7c from MCR120 with higher speed fan, while reducing noise.

Allows me to hit and maintain 4GHz on phenom II @ 1.4625V without thermal runaway like I had with MCR120 ( I live in Texas - my room temp is ~30c or so often enough).

Best performance/$ there is.

Cons: Stunk like paint something awful. Had to wash the thing down in the tub to diminish the smell. This is CHEAP paint. The paint job itself was good, but the paint is garbage. Compared to my MCR120, this paint is dull, thin, and delicate.

No attempt to protect fins from puncture via screws - a simple plate would suffice.

Other Thoughts: The cons aren't even worth losing an egg. I knew these things going in, though the smell caught me off-guard, it was easy enough to cleanup in the tub with detergent.

The performance is a very noticeable improvement in all metrics. I just wished this was a stacker :-)

4 out of 5 eggsSimple and Effective

Pros: Accepts 1/4" threading which means it is very universal.
Simple to install.
Works well with low and high rpm fans(higher rpm fans yield negligible temp improvement)
All copper water channels.

Cons: Included hardware does not accept deeper fans.
Included hardware can puncture radiator water channels if you are careless.

Other Thoughts: Cools water efficiently. Is as quiet as the fans you put on it.

5 out of 5 eggsIts Swiftech!

Pros: Works great!

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Most likely you could go with another brand name on your radiator but why not buy from the people who make the best liquid cooling blocks and pumps on the market? Support the ones who make the best and get Swiftech! If not I hope your radiator don't leak out of the box lol.

5 out of 5 eggsGood Produce

Pros: I bought this to supplement my Thermaltake Bigwater system to cool an overclocked AMD Phenom II, 955. CPU Voltage at 1.535. Brought down my temps by an average of 10 degrees celsius. Installation was not so easy on a coolermaster ATC 840 full tower case. Have to mount it on the top 240 mm fans with the adapter included with the case... need longer fan screws to do this.

Cons: did not come with barbs. however, I got Enzotech 1/4" thread - 3.8" barb and used the extra clips to fasten the tubes onto the radiator. Works very well

Other Thoughts: Does its job without looking too flashy. Thinking about getting a Switftech chipset block from swiftech to cool northbridge on an Asus Crosshair IV formula board. I

5 out of 5 eggsnot really a review

Pros: these work great but several people said bleeding a problem with all coolers

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: ok easy way to bleed any radiator fill tap fill again then use any type of vibration device such as for your back and place on top then slide down for a few minutes bubbles will surface quickly

5 out of 5 eggsWell Made Radiator

Pros: Very good Radiator, I got this with a kit. The entire system works perfectly and it is all very silent.

Cons: Water cooling systems are an extreme pain to set up. Took me hours to set up my entire system. Also, on this Radiator specifically, be very careful when you mount it to your PC, if you screw the screws in too much, you can puncture the radiator and then when you turn it on it blows up in your face. *This happened to me* This is my second Radiator...

Other Thoughts: Besides me poking a hole in my first one and it blowing up in my face, the second one works very well.

5 out of 5 eggssome people or odd

Pros: its a great rad, their are some better performers but not at this price range! its in my antec 1200 (some custom mounting with corner brackets to hold it in the front after removing the HDD cages)

Cons: i can see not coming with barbs being a problem, it wasnt a problem with me because i wanted specialty barbs... and the paint does chip off easily (when i say easily i mean if u drop it, its not an industrial coat of epoxy)

Other Thoughts: great rad, great price! if it doesnt drop ur temps then
1. ur previous setup was already enough to handle the load
2. u messed up the setup some how(weak pump/air in the loop)
3. bad block
4. ur not flowing!!! kinked line
5. ur rad is blocked lol

its supposed to be big... thats the point lol
