Pros: Simple install on XFX 9800gtx. DRASTIC reduction in temps under load (65 C to 40 C). Actually smaller than the original heat sink

Cons: No cooling for the MOSFETs.

Other Thoughts: The lack of cooling for the MOSFETs is not all that big of a deal, just buy the stick on heat sinks. Be careful which brand you buy, the Scythe heat sinks don't seem to stick very well. (see reviews: http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductReview.aspx?Item=N82E16835185083)

Other Thoughts: I never got a chance to use this block, but I want to share some knowledge I gained from having one. The nVidia GTS 250 has never really caught on as a card, and as such there is little after-market gear for it. I thought to attach this block to mine because the GTS is purportedly nearly identical to the 9800 this block fits.

I ran into two issues: 1) two of the mounting holes will not line up on the GTS 250 and 2) There is a capacitor in the way, by the barest fraction of an inch.

I went to far as to see if a local electronics supply store had a compatible capacitor I could solder down with the leads left long, so as to move it out of the way. Thankfully they did not and thus allowed me time to come to my senses. Spent a little extra and got a BFG GTX 260 with a pre-installed water block instead.

zotac cards

Pros: I bought one of these in hopes of water cooling my video cards in a 3 way SLI setup. I have 3 Zotac cards. One is a regular 9800GTX one is an early 9800GTX+ the 3rd is a late model 9800GTX+ that I asume is also the new 250s. The bolt paterns on the 9800GTX & the early "+" are the same. This block works on them.

Cons: As for the late model Zotac 9800GTX+ all the bolt positions are changed as well as less bolt locations(8 vs 14). Guess I got to look elsewhere for another block to work together with 2 of these :/

Other Thoughts: As for this water block it looks great fits perfect on cards its made for and comes with all hardware you need for a 1/2" hose setup. SLI adapters and mosfets sinks are sold elsewhere
