The H220 CPU cooler is an all-in-one liquid cooling system focused on low to inaudible operating noise and a thermal performance that truly rivals custom kits. It's compatible with most cases supporting dual 120mm or larger radiators. The Swiftech H220 is factory pre-filled and completely plug-and-play - ready for installation.

Unlike conventional AIOs, the H220 CPU cooler supports additional liquid cooled components such as graphics cards, chipsets, and/or additional radiator(s) just like a custom-built system. Both the pump and the fans are PWM compliant devices, allowing the H220 to be recognized and speed-adjusted by the motherboard to reach the ideal temperature for the CPU. A PWM splitter is also included allowing connection of up to eight PWM devices.

  • newegg From comfortable audible noise levels to virtually silent The H220 can minimize the operating noise while preserving high thermal performance characteristics. At its lowest speed settings, the system is virtually inaudible. At its maximum speed, the H220 remains within comfortable audible noise levels.
  • newegg Plug-and-Play The H220 is the easiest AIO liquid cooling kit to install bar none, and is even easier to set up than many high-end air coolers.
  • newegg Superior Thermal Performance Thanks to its copper & brass dual 120mm radiator, high static pressure Helix 120mm fans, and more powerful DC pump than any other AIO on the market, and because it shares the Award winning Apogee Drive II cpu waterblock design, the H220 kit delivers the same level of superior thermal performance as can be found in well-known, high-end custom kits.
  • newegg Expandability The H220 differentiates itself from other AIO's by its ability to support additional liquid cooled components such as graphics cards, chipsets, and/or additional radiator(s).
  • newegg Automatic speed control and fine-tuning right out of the box Both the pump and the fans are PWM compliant devices, allowing the H220 to be recognized and speed-controlled by the motherboard depending on CPU temperature just like any standard CPU cooler. As a bonus, the system includes a PWM splitter allowing connection of up to 8 PWM devices, which can then be controlled as one by the motherboard.
  • newegg Maintenance-free The H220 CPU cooler requires no maintenance for three years from the time it ships from the factory; a system refill is recommended at the end of three years. Under extreme ambient conditions, the system may need more frequent refills. If upgraded by the user, the interval of time between refills will depend on how users implement their customized loop.

1 out of 5 eggsPoor Quality and Unreliable

Pros: Easy installation, works OK, initially quiet.

Cons: Unreliable.

Other Thoughts: Started to get a bit noisy after 4 months. Then at 6 months, PC started with CPU Fan error. Apparently the pump stalled. I tapped the pump with a spoon and it started OK. But this is the first sign of wear-out. Quickly went shopping for another brand. BTW, I wasn't happy with the initial quality of the hardware. I don't think Swiftech is good at quality and reliability.

2 out of 5 eggsPoor Customer Service

Pros: Quite and works great when it works

Cons: Broke after 11 months. The pump started failing after 11 months. After going back and forth multiple times with customer service they had me try to fix it myself. refilling the radiator (the type you are told you will never have to fill) and trying different remedies.

After all that I had to send it back. After a month of not hearing from them i reached back out to find they hadnt even opened my package. A few more weeks go by and they tell me in order to fix it I would need to buy $80 in parts... needless to say I am not very happy with them as a company

5 out of 5 eggsH220...something that people missed

Pros: - Fairly quiet (depending on aftermarket fans - if you add them)
- Easy to install
- SOLD copper plate AND radiator
- Cools better than most competitors by several degrees C
- Unique 8-channel PWM controller included with package
- 3-year-from-purchase parts and labor limited warranty

Cons: - Hoses are really long, as in over 12" of tube
- Pump connection comes out of side, may limit your type of motherboard that you can use.
- Not sold in the USA any longer due to legal issue.
- Bearings last, but like all AIO systems can run dry or get a bubble in the loop. Can cause high pitched squeak, but Swiftech should cover most issues with their warranty.
- Wish that I could have bought another one for GPU cooling!!!!!

Other Thoughts: This was my first endevor into All-In-One (AIO) cooling. Most of the brands out there, at the time that I was looking, were all promising the same high end results. But at closer look all the materials, bearings, pumps and etc. were all made out of the same if not simmilar materials.

This AIO water cooling system by far has been a wonderful investment. The materials are all different. They are sold by a company that specializes in water cooling and back all their products by a solid warranty.

While I can't purchase one of these in the states from Newegg any more, I do look forward to the H220s replacement in my next high-end build.

4 out of 5 eggsWas great until it stopped working

Pros: It kept my CPU at 27-35 c, I had my CPU at stock speeds. It was quiet. Even playing a FPS like LFD2 on Ultra and having a Netflix movie playing and several web pages open the temps stayed around 50-55c.

Cons: After almost 2 years, the temp alarms would go off intermittently and then the motherboard would not recognize there being a cpu fan at all. I tested the plugs on the motherboard and finally filed a claim with the extended warranty company. I can only assume the wires became faulty inside the pump housing.

Other Thoughts: The unit had a reservoir with a screw-able cap for the purposes of refilling. I am not sure if there are advantages to having a sealed reservoir or a fill-able one.

1 out of 5 eggsGARBAGE!!!!!!!

Pros: None what so ever.

Cons: First one died after a month, had to fight with customer service 10 emails later they saw how they were in the wrong by trying to sell me another cooler rather than replace there broken one which the pump died one month in. Finally got the replacment totally trash bent fins, missing paint the cap on the pump was loose hoses feel not full , there is no way in hell im putting that in my pc just to have it spring a leak , do your self a favour get a coolermaster hyper 212 evo it cools just as good and ten times cheaper with no worries of the numerous problems this peice of garbage has. I am going to plug it in , in a controlled setting to see how long it takes to fail.DO NO BUY. Just google all the bad reviews that should make your mind up. If you have to have water cooling get one from corsair i own the h100 and was perfect for over 5 years, might just pop that back in if i feel i need to.

Other Thoughts: Do not buy from swiftech terrible products and even worse customer service and the QA is a joke they must have monkey's working there.

Pros: performs excellent looks great very quiet

Cons: back plate is a pain to get adjusted right washers on screws come lose if hit wrong cant get em anymore in us because of stingy asetek.

Other Thoughts: crushes the h100 and h100i which is why I believe asetek eg corsair and most other aio cooler are made by with the exception of cm siedon who is also being sued by asetek boycott all asetek products

5 out of 5 eggsVery nice

Pros: A simple easy-to-use solution for novice water cooling. Performs very nicely and has some expansion possibilities for the future.

Cons: It's too bad that this is no longer available in the US, due to an IP infringement allegation.

1 out of 5 eggsDisappointed

Pros: it worked, although not very long. Only lasted 3 months.

Cons: It went out..was loud while it did work. after 3 months the pump just stopped working.

Other Thoughts: 149.99 down the drain......very disappointed and probably not buying another swiftech product again don't have the packageing or anything to attempt a replacement.

1 out of 5 eggsQuality Lacking

Pros: the pwm fan splitter is nice.

Cons: upon arrival of my new h220, the pump had scratches and the faceplate was damaged. The radiator had scratches all over it as well. I contacted swiftech and they promptly sent me a new faceplate and I installed it immediately. My NEW h220 still had deep scratches, but I decided to not to RMA.

A couple days later the pump started making an awful ticking noise. My entire case is filled with silent noctua fans so this is unacceptable. I contacted support and they sent me a copy pasta of a tutorial to remove air bubbles from the system. I followed the tutorial to no avail.

I eventually had to RMA the unit.

I received my "new" unit in 5-7 days. It looked like a refurbished unit as it had scratches on the copper plate and many of the fins of the radiator were bent. I had to carefully straighten the fins.

I wasn't happy about the copper plate being scratched, so I sent them an email questioning the condition of the product. I got no reply after 2 weeks, so I re-sent the email, and still never got a response.

I need my computer, so I decided to install this watercooler and to my surprise, this one makes a louder ticking noise! I once again attempted to clear the bubbles, but was unsuccessful. I now have to keep the pump at 45% power using speedfan just so I can endure the noise.

5 out of 5 eggsAmazing

Pros: 100% EXPANDABLE ...

Also, it performs great as is for just the CPU and fits perfectly in the pre-drilled mounts on the HAF-X case.

Cons: Only 2x120mm fans so if you wish to run a push/pull system you have to either buy 2 more or mount it to existing case fans. (this was the case for me on my HAF-X)

Other Thoughts: I would recommend this system over all of its competition. Before choosing to buy this product, I tried the Antec 920 kuhler (which wasn't bad but didn't fit comfortably in the HAF-X), and the Corsair H110; both of which did not perform to the level of the Swiftech H220.
