5 out of 5 eggsGreat lil cooler

Pros: Have used before on several diff vid cards. Easy to install, cools just as good if not better that a lot of stock coolers. Fairly quiet

Cons: None really for a $15 cooler

1 out of 5 eggsThis might cool a north bridge.

Pros: It's pretty.

Cons: This thing is so puny that it reminds me more of a toy than a heat sink. The copper is super thin *everywhere* and there isn't much of it to begin with. It's just cheap.

Other Thoughts: I must have not been thinking or paying attention when I bought this thing. Shame on NewEgg for not having more pictures of it. I might use it to cool another chip with some adhesive.

4 out of 5 eggsWorks

Pros: Good quality for a cheaper heat sink, bright light, does its job.

Cons: Push buttons instead of screws, thermal grease is a joke, thermal tape for memory heat sinks was also a joke. I ended up using arctic silver and going without the heat sinks for the memory.

Other Thoughts: This fit on a low profile XFX Geforce 9500gt, just barely but it did fit. Temps are sitting around 47 idle, haven't pushed it yet. Power connector did not fit card, fortunately they included a molex adapter, recommend you get a fan controller to control the little guys speed. He gets quite noisy on high.

1 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Really neat looking blue led, solid copper heat-sink, small package.

Cons: This cooler was barely able to keep my Radeon 9800 cool. I had to clock it down from PRO speeds to standard speeds during the time that I had this cooler installed. I purchased this instead of looking for a stock cooler for the card as a larger cooler wont fit within the case it is installed in. Very cheap construction, the fan just stopped spinning one night. I smelled something very odd coming from where the computer is and shut it down. Checked everything out and found that the Arctic Silver that I had applied to the GPU was baked to a dark brown/black in color. Plugged fan in, and lights lit up but it would not spin. Pressed down on the fan motor and when released it started spinning again. I don't trust this to use anymore, bought a stock ATI cooler. Can run PRO speeds again.

4 out of 5 eggsWith Sparkle 9400 GT, zip tie needed

Pros: Lowered temp about 15 deg Celcius. With fan controller, noise is not noticeable.

Cons: Had to Macguyver it with a zip tie on one side. The holes in the fan line up perfectly with the ones on the aforementioned vid card, but since it's low profile, the fan prevents the card from being inserted into the pci slot.

Other Thoughts: Overall very pleased. This will no doubt increase the life of the card. Though not using it to overclock, I think it would do nicely for that.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat fan for my Older card

Pros: Works great
Sounds quiet
Cheaper cost

Cons: Blue LED light it very bright. I am not one to decorate my computers especially older ones with brightly colored LED lights. Could do without it, but doesn't affect the fan doing its job.

Other Thoughts: Worked great on my ATI 9700 Pro. I had to remove the heatsink from the card before application which took some work as it was the original from 2002 and was basically welded onto the GPU chip.

Comes with ram heatsinks and thermal paste for application

5 out of 5 eggsNice replacement

Pros: Made a wonderful replacement for a Sapphire 9800s GPU fan which sadly died. Was easy to install and runs whisper quiet. It has kept the GPU as cool or cooler as the stock fan and has a nice blue LED on top of that.

Cons: The fan is small, so it can be difficult to work with at times when installing. Obviously the card will need to be removed to install the fan.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Great replacement for the dead fan on my FX 5200. Another great copper heatsink from Vantec.

Cons: Double-sided thermal tape was a little tricky to put onto the heatsinks and the memory chips.

Other Thoughts: Can't see the blue light inside my opaque case. A little bit shines out through the rear vent. Wish there was a switch to turn the light on/off. (I suppose I could dismantle the poor thing if I really got desperate.)
