5 out of 5 eggsGreat cooler the Blue LED is nice too butwell...

Pros: Great cooler works really great! Works on several differebnt cards comes with a 3 pin fan cable but can hook it up to molex with the included adapter! I have it on a SPARKLE nVidia Geforce 9400 gt! Wouldnt fit the Radeon hd 3450 that it was bought for though! Luckily I had a friend who had a Nvidia Gefroce 9400 GT Card that it fit on fine so I used his old heatsink on my wife's Radeon HD 3450 card so it was just a matter of swapping heatsinks! As the old radeon hd 3450 had only about an one inch tall heatsink on it with three fins and a fan! Her radeon hd 3450 runs much cooler now too 95 degrees idle and 114 degrees Farenheit on full load! After I attached an old socket A Cooler master cpu fan to her video card's replacement heatsink (The one from the nVidia geforce 9400 gt) that is!

-Keeps the NVidia Geforce 9400 GT Running at 92 Degrees Farenheit idle and 106 degrees Farenheit under full load. Plus the included led on the fan shroud is nice and bright!

-This cooler is heavy and the included Video card ram heatsinks are a great bonus just wished they had more up to date video cards listed for compatability reasons! Not neweggs fault it is the manufacturers! No eggs docked from me on that one!

Cons: Needs a more updated video card compatability list on it!

Other Thoughts: Pure Copper! Great cooler just wish it fit more recent 2008-2014 video cards!

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Looks cool. Fairly simple install, I don't think I read any instructions. i used it on my old graphics card that needed a fan so I picked this unit up. Served me well. I even recently installed it on my buddies sisters pci-e 6800. Still works like a charm.

Cons: None

5 out of 5 eggsWorks Fantastic!

Pros: Took my old PNY 8500gt temps and plummeted my temps from a roasty 70c idle down to 35c idle and the maximum it has reached heavily oc'ed in furmark all night was 42c. Definitely recommend if you have a mid range card that has poor cooling.

Cons: Takes up another slot in the computer and the screws are very thin and bend easily.

Other Thoughts: It's a lot heavier than it looks so keep that in mind. Solid copper is pretty hard to beat

4 out of 5 eggsnot for 6800xt =/

Pros: Looks great, looks like it would move quite a bit of air...and comes w/pretty much w/e you need to install :)

Cons: Wouldn't fit on my 6800xt (agp) who's fan is headed out the door =/ the gpu and mem chips are all near the end of the card, and there's another smaller chip mid-bottom, all of which is covered by the original fan assembly. None of the brackets will fit.

Other Thoughts: too much hassle for me to send back, so will prolly keep onhand in case another card needs it.

5 out of 5 eggsFits perfectly and works.

Pros: Very easy to install. Ram heatsinks went on without a hitch. A lot of room to spare on my 'ol Quadro FX380 card.

Cons: None. Had to make an adjustment after seeing that the holding screw on the graphics card sticks about an 1/8th inch towards a capacitor causing it nudge a bit. So before installing look around the slot to see if any capacitors are near the screw hole mounts.

Other Thoughts: Had 2 different quadro fx cards fail within a 2 year life span on each replacement, so decided to replace the new stock with this. So far a noticeable avg of 10 degree C drop from the previous temp readings with GPU-z. As much as I want to blame heat instead of P-N-Y... time will tell.

1 out of 5 eggsBad

Pros: it does work as a cooler

Cons: DO NOT BUY THIS if your video chip has no heat spreader built into it. this fan has DESTROYED 2 nVidia 7600 GS Agp cards(1st one PNY, second BFG. nearly identical cards). the 7600 chip has no heat spreader, it is basically the back side of the silicon chip against the heatsink. the size, weigh and instability (wobbles) of this heatsink caused it to erode away the corners of both chips, eventually causing a short-circuit within the chip through either the heat paste or the copper heatsink itself, bricking the card. near as i can tell that is what happened to both of my 7600's. now I have no computer at the moment... and vantec will not repay me for both of my $80 cards...

Other Thoughts: why no heat spreader? make this more stable!!!

4 out of 5 eggsSo Far So Good

Pros: Seems sturdy enough.
One of the provided clips worked with my card's mounting holes.
Convenient to also get the arctic silver goop in the package
Includes heat sinks for the memory chips, but I did not use them.

Cons: Clip has to be positioned over the back of the card...right "on top of" those resistors and stuff. Yes, there's an included piece of insulating tape, but that's a bit of a kludge. Other heatsink/fan combos don't require that you clamp the things on top of electronic components.

The included female electrical connector did not fit the male pins on my grapic card. It's a whole different connector type. I had to use the included connector-to-Molex wiring, which makes the fan run at 100% at all times (because the temperature and speed features of the graphic card circuitry are not being taken advantage of). It's nice to have the Molex converter, but the packaging did say that it was compatible with my card.

The above two items were about a 10% detraction each. This is why I took off one egg (20%).

This is a heavy component, though I don't consider that a con unless my graphic card starts to crash. Copper heatsinks are supposed to be heavy.

Other Thoughts: I bought this heat sink and fan combo to replace a broken fan on an old graphic card, just to get some more use out of it until the dust settles on the latest genre of cards.

The heat sink is solid. The fan, like all fans, seems thin and fragile (a lot like the original that was broken), but it is quiet. The heat sink and fan look pretty and have a pretty blue LED, but really, neither of those things matters when the card will be facing downward in a typical system case. I'd rather have seen less fancy and a slightly lower price, but what can I say; it fits the card.

And only time will tell if that clip will eventually crush the tiny components on the backside of the graphic card. Hopefully on that day, I will be ready to move up to a newer card.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat aftermarket cooler!

Pros: Lots of copper- great cooling, cool blue lights

Cons: HEAVY-

Other Thoughts: Bought this to cool my ATI X800Pro card. Temps seem to hover around 40-45c. I don't do alot of heavy gaming but I did play around with some of the cards overclocking features and haven't had any problems. Good price and for a solidly built cooling system. Make sure you have an extra PCI slot and that you can mount this solidly on your card-it's pretty heavy and it takes some space.

5 out of 5 eggsIcy cold!

Pros: Very easy to install and very effective. Nice solid copper cooler, you can almost feel the quality in its weight. Went on a Geforce Fx 5600 Ultra whos cooler died. GPU loves it I went from 44*c under load to 38*c and it hangs between 32-33 at idle. Excellent

Cons: Included thermal paste could be better
