2 out of 5 eggsGood idea, didn't work well in my system

Pros: The idea behind this card is cool. It removes hot air from your system and blows cool air onto it.

The blue led was also nice and bright.

You can plug it into any PCI slot (I was using an old conventional PCI slot).

The 4 pin power plug was long and easy to route to its connector due to length and flexibility.

Finally, the fan does a good job of blowing air and the other half does a good job of sucking hot air (in other words, it does what it is designed to do).

Cons: The bracket is not reverseable, meaning I had to install it in my system UPSIDE DOWN. So I got air blown up into my PSU and hot air blown down into my system.

The card is VERY loud...if you have a quiet system, you will definately hear it after you have installed this card. The only setting I could tolerate the noise output was having the card barely turned on.

The card is pretty big and clunky when it comes to placing it in your system (I have a mid size case). I already had two GPU cards and a USB 3.0 PCI X1 controller in place and had some difficulty getting the cooler to fit. My front panel audio connections also plug into my mobo right next to the cooler card and had to be disconnected in order for the card to seat properly.

Other Thoughts: Prior to inserting this card, my processors idled around 108 degrees F. After putting in the card (like mentioned before, upside down), that shot up to around 130F!

Because of the drastic rise in heat, the loud noise, and the fact that I had to remove my front audio connectors to get the card to fit, I ended up removing the card after 5 minutes.

I am sure the product is a great idea and works as intended, however, it just doesn't work well with my set up at the moment.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Fan-Great Price

Pros: Fan-tastic product at a Fan-tastic price. It looks really Fan-cy in my windowed case and the blue (not red) lights are nice. Not too bright. just right. Now, the way I installed it was under my gpu. Some have said they put it above it, but, to me that makes no sense. My gpu has it's own fan, and it's on the bottom. This fan is blowing up on the left side, and I have the other fan on the right, tilted up and out, towards the back exhaust vent. This fan sucks in the warm air and blows it out it's back vents. When I feel the back of the case, there's alot of warm air coming out the vent of this fan. So, it's doing two jobs well. It's blowing cool air up to the gpu fan, and it's sucking in and blowing out warm air to the rear.

It's a win-win deal and a great idea for a cheap cooler. I have 6 other fans in this case plus Kuhler 620 liquid cpu cooler. This cheap little dual fan has actually reduced the heat by about 6-10 degrees c.! Hard to believe, butI run temp controls on the desktop always. And, the normal idle temp has been 35c. for the cpu, and around 30c mb. Now the temps are 28-30 c cpu, and 25 for the mb! These are really good temps for the setup I have, and it's 6 core and in the turbo boost mode.

My setup is:
AMD 960T-(6 Cores Unlocked) CPU-Asus m5a88v-evo mb. 8gb. G.Skill ram-Antec 750 psu-Nvidia 560-1gb. gpu-

I would glady say that for a lousy $20.00, you will not find a better, cheaper cooling solution. It's not the only fan you need, but it is one you should have under that expensive graphics card. It is not very long or very wide. It's actually about an inch shorter and about the same width as my 560 card. I had no problem popping it in. I have about 2 inches between the top of this fan and the bottom of the card. Make sure you have enough room to turn the second fan all the way up without it hitting the video card above it. I didn't leave enough room. But, it's up enough and tilted toward the back to shoot alot of the warm air out the rear of the case. If you have the space, leave more room between the fan and the card so you can turn the fan.

Cons: None-does what it's supposed to do. I'm a real FAN of this product! sorry-

Other Thoughts: This may not work with a dual card setup, unless you have alot of slots. Just be sure you have about two inches above the video card so you can rotate the fan up. Wish I had more slots. I'd love to add another. Maybe above the card to capture the rising heat that's missed below.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat for HTPC setups!

Pros: Great air flow. Has 2 fans, one to blow on the card, and the other to discharge the hot air outside the case. Adjustable air controller to adjust air flow and also make it quiet.

Cons: The air flow is great, but the more you turn it up the more noise it makes. When you turn it all the way up its extremely loud of course.

Other Thoughts: I put this in one of my HTPC's to keep the Ceton card cool. Does a really great job of keeping the card at a comfortable 45C at all times. I like it because it has the 2 fans and one of them exhausts the hot iar out of the case while the other one blows directly on the card. When you turn this thing up it does sound like an air raid siren, so I just keep it on the lowest setting which is fine. Seems to be really sturdy and not cheap. The little blue LED is a nice touch.

5 out of 5 eggsLove this directional fan!

Pros: This little guy is reasonably quiet, and works darn well! even has a speed adjuster in the back!

Cons: Has a blue light. If you're not into things being shiny - you may not like this.

Other Thoughts: Works great for that spare PCI slot!

4 out of 5 eggsGets the job done

Pros: Still runs just fine after more than a year

Cons: Can be a tight fit

Other Thoughts: This has been used to help draw out extra heat from a couple "render boxs" (computers used only for ray-tracing) that I run 24-7 with a heavy system load almost all the time. This cooler has helped keep the GPU's used with rendering about 10C cooler from ~90C to ~80C (which, since they are there about 24-7, will hopefully lengthen their lifespan some).

5 out of 5 eggsMake sure you've got room

Pros: Looks cool. Nice blue LED. The second fan twists however you want it. I couldn't hear it over my other components.

Cons: I can't really dock eggs for this, cause it's my setup that's causing the problem, but if you get this, make sure you have enough room between this cooling card and your graphics card. I only had a single card's width of space between them and the exhaust on this thing was fighting my MSI Twin Frozr III for air. Temps rose in response. Unfortunately my sound card was occupying the single regular PCI slot on my motherboard that was in the way and could not be moved to facilitate proper air flow. So I gave the cooler to my dad, and he says that with his setup(which has a lot more room between the cards), it is working flawless.

Other Thoughts: I ended up mounting two 40mm fans (for exhaust) on the outside of my case over the open card slots instead. Worked like a charm. I used two of the EVERCOOL FAN-EC4010M12CA. Newegg sells them for a lot cheaper than I paid at a local store, so I'd suggest getting them from here.
