3 out of 5 eggsDynatron P785 77mm 2 ball CPU COOLER

Pros: Nic heatsink/fan

Cons: Problem with the Fan not being Reconised by the computer!!!! Runs constanly a high Speed and reports a fan Error on boot up!!!!

The old Stock Heatsink/Fan from intel ran nice and quiet!!!! And Tha computer saw it on bootup!!!!

Not too many Heatsink/fans out there for a 775 CPU with a 4 pin connector

5 out of 5 eggsDope Cooler!

Pros: Price and performance.

Cons: None really.

Other Thoughts: For those of you having problems with the noise, download speedfan and adjust the rpm to the desired speed to reduce the sound.

5 out of 5 eggsCool Cooler Coolest

Pros: Very Pleased With This Cooler..
Perfect for an Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 that is mounted
on a Asus IPIBL-LB (Benicia) motherboard. This 4 pin cooler was purchased to replace a failing stock HP cooler mounted in their HP Pavilion Elite m9150f Desktop PC. (also purchased thru Newegg)
I have to say this computer never ran so quite. This fan is so quite that anyone who has rated this as being noisy might want to check, and make sure that the cooler is mounted correctly. Tighten the screws uneven and the cooler will twist just enough to make the fan noisy. Check that one out Complainers…LOL
Thanks Newegg as always Great Deal!!!!!! !

Cons: No Problems.....Nothing But Joy :-)

Other Thoughts: Wonderful 4 pin cpu cooler. Good Deal and a Great Product.

1 out of 5 eggsJet Engine?

Pros: Kept Cpu maybe 3 degrees cooler

Cons: honestly sounds like a turbine engine starting. I could hear this thing down a flight of stairs. way too loud for me.

2 out of 5 eggsSounds like Turbo Jet

Pros: Good bracket with through-the-board bracket with spring-loaded screws instead of push pins. Reasonable Cost.

Cons: Fan would run at 4000 rpm when ever the system was stressed. Temps were reasonable, but the fan was noisy at all times. The fan is too small and runs too fast to be quiet. It is noticeably louder than the stock intel cooler. Had to order another heat sink with adjustable fan speed and larger diameter fan.

1 out of 5 eggs

Pros: aluminum heat sink could be recycled? that's about it.

Cons: this is the worst fan. i bought it because it was advertised as able to fit in a 2U case and it was "quiet". Far from the truth. In a 2U case or even a slim desktop case your fan is going to come right up to the lid of your case. if your lid is not vented your cpu cld have airflow restrictions. it is also LOUD. like a jet turbine engine.... i was shocked. i bought 8 of them and returned all 8 after attempting to install the first one.....

Other Thoughts: u might as well buy the intel stock fan or get a boxed cpu that comes with the intel fan. this cooler is no better than those and much bigger. i ended up using the stock intel fans and they fit nicely in my case and are keeping my quad core processors cool enough.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent Product

Pros: 2 ball bearings, quality construction, reasonably low noise. Small size won't interfere with other components. Attachment with screws-- not snaps!

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: I make my living as a PC tech and system builder and I'm sold on Dynatron. I don't have time to research flaky offerings from companies that produce one good piece mixed with 5 bad ones in their product line. I use these coolers in my customer's computers as well as my own.

I'm not overclocking my personal box, however, the temps are in the low 30C's with a Core 2 Duo E8500 running games at night and iterative calculations by day. So long as Dynatron keeps making high quality hardware, I'll stick with them.

3 out of 5 eggsCools very well, but loud

Pros: Cools very well. Nice build quality & mounting system Great value for the price

Cons: Makes lots of noise at full speed (5500 RPM)

Other Thoughts: This CPU cooler is audible even at approx half speed (2500 RPM) Even though this is a PWM fan, I found the noise level intolerable. If cooling is strictly what you're after, this cooler can move a lot of air does it very well due to it's sheer fan speed (5500 RPM !)

5 out of 5 eggsDynatron P785

Pros: 5500 rpm animal that cools my Pentium d 925 dual core OCed to 3.8 ghz that used to idle at 47c @ 3.56ghz and 62c at full load with this cpu cooler OCed now to 3.8ghz, 38c idle and about 45-47c full load playing GTA IV.....super cheap but super effective..... if you have a socket 775 and want a good cooler for cheap, I mean a REALLY good cooler for cheap BUY THIS ONE!!!

Cons: Running at 100% it makes a little humming noise but it is not as bad as others may say.

Other Thoughts: I'm not using any kind of special thermal compound, I'm using the stuff that comes pre-coated with this cooler, so imagine the cooling performance w/ lets say Arctic silver or something comparible.
