Suitable Item for Intel 1366 Heatsink
Pros: Simple design, simple installation. Sticky-back tape holds bracket in place to bottom of mo-bo to help with installation of heat sink. Works with Intel's recommended LGA-1366 fan/heat-sink.
Cons: Will not work with ALL LGA-1366 heat sinks. LGA-1366 heat sinks are NOT like others. These require metal brackets on the reverse side of the motherboard to achieve serious attachment pressure.
Other Thoughts: This is a suitable bracket if you do as we did and assume the Intel CPU comes with a heatsink - as all the prior ones have. Our Xeon 5500 did not. Furthermore, the Intel heat-sink for the Xeon (or other LGA 1366 CPUs) does NOT come with a lower attachment bracket for the motherboard (!) This Dynatron bracket has press-in inserts that are threaded to accept the Intel heat sink attachment screws.

Pros: Just ordered this bracket. It's the part needed to mount the Dynatron G555 fan to an intel I7 desktop board. It's a beautiful bracket, there are no words to describe it. It's definitly a five EGGER LOL (*_*).
Cons: None whatsoever. Solves the G555 mounting issue.
Other Thoughts: I've been putting off ordering the G555 fan and heatsink, cause of the feedback on the missing bracket. Glad I did a little research!!!
