4 out of 5 eggsGood 1U Active Cooler, cheesy clips

Pros: Copper base, only option for a 1U case with any load needing active cooling, 4-pin header, directional exhaust helps keep a consistent air-flow path.

Cons: It uses those cheesy OEM-style plastic retention clips. I much preferred the steel backing plate. The plastic retention clips always seem to stress a motherboard physically to me. Still was easier to snap-on then the OEM coolers by a long shot.

Other Thoughts: It looks like the fan they used on this has some kind of cheesy asthetics molded into the plastic like a fake hex-bolt head. I guess to make it look more industrial. These are a server piece and consequently tend to sound like a hair-drier on low-mode. Not intended for a case in an office/living-room.
