2 out of 5 eggsWorks ok, doesn't fit so well

Pros: Looks good. Cools memory ok.

Cons: My biggest issue with this fan is that it doesn't fit well around my memory.
I thought about returning it for that reason but decided against it because the blue light does well with the other lights in my machine.
Too loud. Had to take it out of my system. I would not recommend nor would I buy again.

4 out of 5 eggsWorks Well, Tricky Install

Pros: Fits well. Working well.

Cons: Instructions are really hard to follow. It is VERY confusing to figure out how to get it placed correctly.

Other Thoughts: This was tricky to install to the point where I would tell people not to buy it if they are timid at all around computer hardware.

Update: 3 years later it is still running well.

5 out of 5 eggsIf you have to have a RAM fan ...

Pros: Used in a high-end workstation with lots of hot ECC RAM. A fan is essential to keep the memory alive and functioning. This is a very attractive solution. Very well constructed, fans reversible, high air flow, quiet. Clips easily onto RAM.

Cons: Wish it came in a larger (92 mm) fan size to cover a bigger memory bank.

Other Thoughts: I have both the black & a blue (frame color) models. The blue is more of a steel gray-blue color than is usually shown in the product descriptions.

1 out of 5 eggsNever got to Use

Pros: Looks nice, neat idea

Cons: Never got to use. Unit was to big to install due to the location of my Motherboard Power Connector, USB 3.0 Connector and Stock AMD CPU cooler.

Not sure what this unit is designed for, but it does not appear to be your everyday ATX Motherboard.

Other Thoughts: I am aware that the USB 3.0 Location is different on all Motherboards, however, the power connector is always next to the DIMM Slots and all Stock AMD coolers are the same.

I will RMA mine and file this as a lesson learned, no hard feelings Kingston.

5 out of 5 eggsNice little Fans

Pros: Quiet at medium speed, not VERY loud even at full blast.

Most likely, you are buying this because it looks cool, not because your ram actually needs it. So you should have no problem running this at low speeds for silent operation.

Very sturdy Chassis and slightly variable height options when mounting.

The fans can be turned upside down or replaced if you want.. The legs are also removeable and adjustable

Comes with 4 thumb screws to secure the legs if you chose to mount it with a lower profile than the standard mounting inserts.

Nicest "ram" cooler I've seen. Deff the best build quality as well.

Cons: Doesn't come with color options as far as the LEDs go, so if you want a different color other than blue, you can always just purchase 2 replacement fans and put them on. as easy as 1.2..3...

Not SILENT at full speed, but nobody claimed it was. Not even a con. just thought I would mention. if you want silent operation, hook it up to a motherboard fan header and control it that way, or to a fan controller and you will be happy!

Price was ok for $25.00 it could have been slightly less, but for such solid build quality I am not complaining.

Other Thoughts: I am water cooling my Sapphire R9 280x Vapor-X and because it is not a reference card layout i have to use a universal cooling block, which does not cover the ram or vrm 1 and 2......

I got this so I could flip the fans upside down and seat it under my GPU so I could have extra cooling on top of the passive heatsinks I placed over my VRM and ram of my video card.

At silent operation it actually doesnt blow enough air to keep my card cool, but that is not what it is designed to do.

I rigged up an 120mm XSPC 1650 Xinrulean Fan instead underneith my gpu which does a great job of cooling what I need it to while still maintaning silent operation....

So I decided to place this where it was intended. over my ram and on the lowest setting possible.

It looks great and helps circulate a little more air throughout my case.

I am overall happy for this product as my intended use was not what this was made for and I can not be upset with a product that doesn't function in a way it does not claim to.

5 out of 5 eggsClever

Pros: Quiet, size, design

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: I chose this because of overall appearance and design. Because of the enclosed ends, it appeared to channel air into the ram more effectively. And it grips the switches that hold the DIMMS in place, which looked clever, and is.

I couldn't tell from the photos if it would fit my board. But in my Asus P6X58D premium board, this fan fit over all 6 DIMMs easily. The fan feels well-made and sturdy, the pieces fit together nicely without hassle, and the clips fit the DIMM sockets without struggle. There is plenty of clearance above my G.Skill RipJaws X series. Finally, the fan is very quiet and runs from. Motherboard connector.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks Great!

Pros: I purchased this because I have had problems in the past with my RAM overheating and shutting down constantly. So when I bought the stuff for my new build I decided to get something to prevent that from EVER happening. What can I say? It looks good, works great and keeps my new memory nice and cool even with their own dedicated heat distribution.

Cons: None!

2 out of 5 eggsnot the greatest

Pros: cools nicely

Cons: takes up to much space , i run a push pull on my cpu and its hitting the push fan , also 1 month in to it one of the two fans sounds horrible every time i start my computer have to tap it a few times to get it to stop .. waste of money .
