5 out of 5 eggsGood alternative to Intel Pushpins

Pros: Good alternative to those lousy Intel plastic pushpins. Works well with my Artic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro (older style) without modification.

Cons: None so far.

Other Thoughts: Hardest part of installation is figuring out how much to tighten down the screws. Including different thicknesses of plastic washers would have been nice, even if it upped the price a buck.

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Works pretty well compared to the shippy 775 push pins.

Cons: Hard to determine how much you gotta tighten down the screws.

Other Thoughts: Springs could have been softer so you wouldn't fill like your gonna break your board.

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: gets rid of cheap plastic hold down clips. Works on most of the coolers I have. Provides better, even tension. Tension is adjustable.

Cons: 1) will not work on the Arctic cooler 7 v2. the spring loaded thumb screws are too large in diameter to fit in the 4 "barrels" of the cooler bracket. I was reluctant to carve out the plastic cooler bracket. Probably would have been OK, but I saw the possibility of the 4 legs of the cooler bracket flexing too much.
2)Thumb screw height may be an issue on some low profile coolers.
3) you have to guess at how far to screw down the thumb screws.

Other Thoughts: a list of compatible coolers would undoubtedly help sales.

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Works pretty well and has nice screws. I have a Rosewill Challenger case so I wouldn't have had to remove the mobo except for me having a huge cooler and not being able to get to the screws in such a tight place.

Cons: No stops so watch how tight you put it on. you can bend your mobo pretty easily.

Other Thoughts: I don't like the double sided tape idea. All it will do is leave residue on your mobo. Maybe they could have included it for people that want it though.

5 out of 5 eggsworks great!

Pros: it works great! I have a HAF case so need to remove MB. I feel so much better that I know my CPU fan is attached better. Didn't drop my temp. very much but I didn't really expect it to. I just feel better.

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: $9 for peace of mind is a long way for little cash.

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Easy to install, does require motherboard teardown.

Cons: Ordered with Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro kit. Required substantial cutting on all four corners to get good fit. If you are squeamish about doing this type of work, you will need to call directly for good matches for screw down type connectors for cooling kits.

5 out of 5 eggsEasy to install

Pros: Very reasonably priced (I could not make this kit for $5.99 (plus shipping)). Quick and easy to re-mount my AC Freezer 7 Pro.

Yes, you have to take the mobo out of the case. I also bought four 5/16" faucet washers to put over the screws between the mobo and the feet of the heatsink to prevent metal to mobo pressure. It was easy to push and turn the spring-loaded screws in this package, which helped me ensure equal pressure on each bolt by making one turn of each screw until the heatsink was firmly pressed against the CPU.

Cons: None (I actually bought two because I have another AC heatsink that has the nylon push-pins).

Other Thoughts: One mounting pin on my AC Freezer 7 Pro bent past the point where it would maintain a tight fit on the CPU. That computer runs 24/7 and I kept noticing that the CPU temps would increase over time. When I took off the heatsink to re-seat it, I found I had bent one of the nylon locking pins, and it would not go through the mobo to anchor the heatsink.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent!

Pros: Easy to mount. The bracket is plastic but very sturdy. The rest of the hardware is plenty solid also.

Cons: Obviously you need to remove your mobo to install this.

Other Thoughts: I'm using this on a Xigmatek S1283 HSF unit installed on a Gigabyte P45 mobo.

5 out of 5 eggsGood Product

Pros: High qualtiy mounting, spring-loaded thumb screws. Solid, firm backplate.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: The reviewer concerned with the plastic backplate makes no sense and is obviously inexperienced. Mounting backplates are routinely made from both metal and plastic. I prefer plastic as it reduces the chance for creating a short. Board flex is not an issue as the plastic is extrdued with bracing to strengthen it. The plate is not 'soft' Ignore Alexander's comments.

2 out of 5 eggsPlastic bracket

Pros: Easier than stock mount.

Cons: This is soft plastic bracket and it do not prevent mother board bend.

Other Thoughts: All mounting kits I use before was made from metal and
I did not expect to get this one. It do only half it's job-easy mount and do not discharge M/B
