For the PC-enthusiast who wants a desktop that looks sizzling hot, yet stays remarkably cool, check out the Zalman CNP9500 AT CPU Cooler featuring a fan and heatsink! This hi-tech cooling device lends a rich, bright look to your PC with its flashy heatsink and frame, durably crafted out of pure copper.

The heatsink saves space with an architecturally sound 3-pipe system that effortlessly whisks heat away with the help of the automatic fan’s 92mm blades and 2 ball bearings. Controlling the fan is a PWM chip, which automatically adjusts the fan’s speed based on CPU temperature. It operates at a stealthy 18.0 dB at 1300 RPM and quietly revs to 27.5 dB at 2650 RPM during heated PC action.

  • newegg PWM Control Fan A low-noise 92mm PWM Control fan automatically controls fan speeds ranging from 1,300rpm to 2650rpm for silent cooling in relation to CPU temperatures.
  • newegg Unique Heatpipe Design Three innovative and curved heatpipes provide a heat capacity matching up to six heatpipes for maximized heat transfer.
  • newegg Optimized Heatsink Layout and Ultra-Slim Fins A 100% copper heatsink with an aerodynamically optimized "tunnel" design and 0.2mm ultra-slim fins maximize heatsink efficiency with minimal weight and smoother airflow for optimum cooling.
  • newegg Intel Platform Compatible Compatible with the Intel LGA 775/1155/1156 platforms, the Zalman CNPS9500 AT provides an ideal cooling solution for Intel Pentium 4, Celeron D, Pentium D, Core 2 Duo, Core 2 Quad, Core 2 Extreme, and Core i7, Core i5, Core i3 processors.

5 out of 5 eggsJust BOSS

Pros: Easy installation, super quiet, MUST HAVE

Cons: Sharp fins but that's it

Other Thoughts: I recently bought this not even 2 days ago, lightening fast shipping came here in one day. Cooled my CPU from 50C to the late 20s mid 30s. I recommend this fan for gamers.

5 out of 5 eggsNo LED and that's GOOD!

Pros: No LED and PWM. Sometimes yoiu just want a cooler that doesn't glow in the dark.

Cons: They don't make their 120 and 135 PWM versions without LEDs.

Other Thoughts: I've used a number of these coolers for 775, 1156, and 1155 builds. Never had an issue with installation or chip cooling. They are large, so make sure you have enough room in your case. You may have to remove the side or top panel cooling chute to get clearance. I usually do that anyway and put in an 80mm fan, when I have room, just to get a little more air on the fins.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks great

Pros: Keeps my processor cool, cool, cool. Looks great too.

Cons: Will make you bleed.

I swore after reading many others' accounts of injury due to the sharp edges of this heat sink that I was much too coordinated to have to worry about cutting my knuckles on this component.

I was wrong. This heatsink is essentially 100 copper razor blades welded together. On the upside, I feel a much closer bond to my rig after shedding blood in its construction.

I'd buy this again, but please handle with care!

5 out of 5 eggsDon't forget the MIR

Pros: Great CPU fan, keeps everything cool for a great price

Cons: None Yet

Other Thoughts: When installing this CPU fan, there is a tension rod that you have to screw down. It will be very tight and I thought I was going to break my CPU. I went ahead anyway and nothing bad has happened. Make sure to use plenty of thermal grease, as always.

4 out of 5 eggsLowered the temperature but..

Pros: 1. Lowered my 42.GHz OC'd i5-760 load temperature from 73C~75C to 64~68C
2. Stable and quiet (usually)
3. Has its own thermal paste
4. Affordable price imo

Cons: 1. Hard to install - likely to get cut while fastening the clip screws
2. On full load when temp goes over 60C, it becomes pretty loud. With another loud GTX 480 fan and room temp being 75F or more these days, speechless.

4 out of 5 eggsGood, but needs a better instruction manual.

Pros: It keeps my CPU cool, and the fan is not loud as some people claim it to be.

Cons: When Unpackaging, I obtained different componets, for example:
Clip Support
Clip Support Fixing Bolts
Clip
I have a Z77 Asus Sabretooth with thermal armor, so the clip support was a bit tricky to install because it has a lever slot, so I had to install in a way that it could fit into my motherboard.

Other Thoughts: Good fan.
