ZALMAN CNPS9700 LED 110mm 2 Ball CPU Cooler

Pros: You wouldn't believe me if I told you... but I am. 1st; its kept 5 different processors cool for me, I don't usually turn it up to max speed so it's quiet enough.
I recently upgraded to a fx 8350 and used AS-5 and with all power saving options turned on in bios it was keeping idle temp at 3.C that's 37 F!

Cons: No PWM

Other Thoughts: It will cut you if you're not careful, not a big deal.

Pros: It's been keeping my Q6600 OC'd to 3.2ghz since I installed it as a server in 2008. It stays within 3-5' of stock temperatures with this cooler, quite amazing.

Cons: None

Pros: Follow the instructions and all goes well.
Does the job I bought it to do.

Cons: None so far

Other Thoughts: Once again Newegg delivers a quality product at a fair price and with quick delivery.

Pros: Cools my overclocked E8400 Dual Core like a dream. It is quiet on low and does a great job for my needs. It's been going strong for 5 years and still performs like the day I bought it... Incredible cooler for the price!!!

Cons: The fan controller is a little large for my taste but I don't even use it because my mobo has voltage control that works quite well and only spins up the fan under load.

Other Thoughts: It's a shame that they haven't made a bracket for socket 155 because I would like to use this thing in my next build instead of buying a new one that I may not like as well as this one.

Pros: Bought this back in 09 for my 1st gen i7 system and it kept the CPU nice and cool!

Replaced the motherboard + processor in 2011 for a i5 2500k and swapped the mount. I have the i5 overclocked @ 4 ghz and have never had my CPU overheat, EVER! It still works, but I'm thinking of replacing it soon because I'm afraid it'll die on from old age, but no hints yet!

Cons: it isn't dead yet!

Pros: Kept phenom quad core cool for 4 years

Cons: Computer wouldn't boot up. Opened the door and found the clip that held the cpu fan to the mobo broke in two.

Cpu fan resting on vid card. Will check if cpu fried.

Pros: This fan was used to replaced my previous ZALMAN fan that lasted 5 years. This is a relatively quiet, high quality fan.

Cons: None

Pros: I have had this CPU cooler for 5+ years now and it is still working perfectly. I have never seen over 47C at a full load while high end gaming. With most other tasks, it runs from 25C to about 34C. It's quiet at the 10% to 30% speed area. I have used it on an old AMD x3 CPU, AMD Phenom X4 9750, AMD Phenom II x4 955, and now it is cooling my beast overclocked i7-2600k.

Cons: Pretty loud at 100% speed, but it's understandably.

Other Thoughts: If this doesn't work for you, clearly you installed it wrong. ;)

Pros: Keeps my CPU at least 20C below the stock on full load.

Cons: I left off 1 egg because of the manual speed control. They should at least give you the option between 3 or 4 pin connectors.
Also its very hard to clean when it gets dusty but thats just because of the way the fins are.

Pros: It kept my Q6600 cool.

Cons: it makes a clank noise every time the fan spins a full turn, i also noticed this on my friends CNPS9700. So far none of my Zalman heatsink/fan products have held up to the test of time. Wont be buying Zalman anymore. They have been using this CNPS gimmick for way to long and still do.

Other Thoughts: Upgrading to Thermalright or Watercooling.
