Pros: Its a cooling block that fits the 8800GTX. Zalman RMA service and support staff did a great job.

Cons: Terrible machining of the product. Half of the tapped holes where too big for the spring loaded screws and wouldnt stay in place. Got another unit from Zalman via their RMA process but still had the same issue. I actually had to settle for glueing those screws in place.

Other Thoughts: I also have the Reserator XT from Zalman which I have had problems with as well. So far I cant say I would recommend any of their products to potential buyers.

1 out of 5 eggsBoard Breaker NO EGGS!!!!!!

Pros: It fits a 8800gtx and thats it !!! Get a Innovatek block WAY BETTER AND WAY WORTH IT!!!!!!!

Cons: Do not tighten the screws it will snap your 8800gtx in half. The barbs barely fit any type of 3/8 ID fitting you have to use the metal holders that they supply you with just to insure a tight fit. The barbs are in the worst place in the world and the are loose. What persorn sticks them next to the PCI-E port your tubing will have kinks if you try to add it any where in your rig even on a simple loop that goes from CPU to GPU it will cause kinks when you place the side panel back on sli is even worse with this.

5 out of 5 eggsMixing and Matching Not Easy!

Pros: The block s well built and the contact areas are accurately placed. Looks cool, keeps my card cool. Can be disassembled without the need to replace the rubber "O-Ring".

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I purchased this card as the only component in my system not manufactured by Koolance, and in doing so I gave myself a little bit of a headache. I knew when I purchased the block that the nozzles were a smaller diameter than what I was looking to use in my system. After attempting to use them anyways, I sprung a leak. I removed the nozzles that came pre-installed on the block in an effort to replace them with Koolance nozzles, but realized they were not the same threading. I had to disassemble the block, drill out and re-thred the holes to get my Koolance nozzles to work, but it was easier than I thought it would be due to the high quality seal they used. Overall the MOD worked great and I am very happy with the block.

5 out of 5 eggsThank you

Pros: I really like the one stop shop, covers the entire card setup. This was my first foray into water cooling the video card so I didn't want the hassle of buying multiple heat sinks and such (call me lazy). This card really worked for me. Prior to it's installation, my 8800gtx ran around 186 F (excuse my lack of Celsius conversion). Now, even with the water setup going through the CPU first and then to the Zalman, my 8800 gtx temps are 115 F (idle), 125 F under a full load (checked after playing NFS ProStreet for a couple of hours...very scientific).

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: System: Thermaltake Kandalf LCS, 8800gtx, x6800 CPU, 8 gigs mem, vista ult. 64 bit, 4x500 GB raid 0 drives, 1x147 GB SCSI boot drive.

3 out of 5 eggsBe careful

Pros: It works as intended, keeps my GTX's cool and silent.

Cons: I have a complete Zalman WC set up with the Reserator XT. I connected the Zalman tubing and supplied hose clamps as instructed, but after 2 hours of playing Crysis the hose popped off and voided coolent over the bottom of my case and left a nice blue puddle on my floor. I was lucky the hose spurted the coolant away from the MB.
So...after quickly unplugging my machine, I disconnected everthing below the "wet-line" in the case and let it dry over night. The next day I re-connected everything, re-filled the Reserator with coolant AND double-clamped the tubes onto the nozzles using the supplied metal clamps AND plastic "snap-clamps".
I was greatly relieved that no damage occurred to my computer. Everything has held together since I installed the plastic snap clamps.

Other Thoughts: The supplied metal clamps didn't hold the tubes onto the nozzle, you may want to use something that doesn't expand when heated like metal and use plastic snap clamps, or both (the nozzle is long enough for 2 clamps).

4 out of 5 eggsNice Cooling Block

Pros: Easy to install and comes with everything you need

Cons: Does not come with instructions on removing the stock cooler but its not hard if you know what you are doing.

User manual showed thermal pad installation for 8800 GTS and not 8800GTX but again easy to figure out if you know what you are doing.

Other Thoughts: Replacing my Tri-SLI rig with 9800 GX2 quad SLI so these babies will be for sale soon

5 out of 5 eggsWorks like a dream

Pros: Go on easy if you follow the directions. I'm running 34C on the gpu and 42C on the gpu diode idle and 38C 49C respectively at load. Much better than the stock at 68C idle and 75C load. I have 3 of these with 3-Way SLI 8800GTX w/split 3 way flow so each card gets fresh cool h2o. Simple installation with included thermal pads and thumb screws. They also match my black 780i mobo and evga gtx black pcb's.

Cons: I'm not sure how you would run a straight thru loop with these cards with the nozzles being positioned as they are. I would imagine your hose would kink but if you went left to right down the line i guess it would be ok. That would be the only con if I were trying to run it straight through. Oh and the fact that the hose connectors are 3/8 if you are running a 1/2 hose you may have to get adaptors. I am running 3/8 so it doesn't matter to me.

Other Thoughts: Make sure you use the hose clamps included in the kit and tighten the block screw on mounts (not the thumb screws) with a pair of pliers. If you don't you run the risk of the thumbscrew over powering the mount and it popping out on you. No beuno.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Water Blocks

Pros: Very solid build feel and nice performance, keeps my both my 8800GTXs at ~40°C. Slim profile.

Cons: Somewhat tricky to install, it has small threads into aluminium so make sure not to over tighten as they will strip.

Other Thoughts: It still works fine if one of the bolts is missing.

5 out of 5 eggs40°C cooler than old fan

Pros: Excellent quiet cooling.

Cons: A bit tricky to install. Put the pets outside so they don't interfere.

Other Thoughts: An Exacto knife or small flathead screwdriver can be useful for removing the plastic covers from the adhesive strips; they are delicate.

2 out of 5 eggsdrip drip

Pros: this thing dose the job. went from 80c to 49c on my 8800 gtx. that thing was was a fire hazard.

Cons: didn't come with hose clamps. so, i bought the standard screw type, and found a really cool puddle at the bottom of my rig. then i bought some squeeze type clamps from the automotive store, and still leaked till (is till a real word or made up?) all the air was out of the lines. the fittings on the block suck, there to small and don't seat in the hose right.

Other Thoughts: it hasn't leaked a drop in a few days but i don't like having a small bowl at the base of my computer as an accessory's. dose any one know were you can buy a cool gutter system or drip pan with led lights.
