Cons: Pump weak, have to hit it on the side when starting up to get the water to flow. No matter what solution I've used it has caused a buildup in the water block and restricts flow. I have had to take the block off at least ten times and disassemble to clean it out. What a joke of a product. The first pump went out after 2 months of use. I e-mailed Zalman and they sent me a new one, still underpowered. I'm going to use this as an anchor for my boat, at least it'll work doing that...I hope. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT, YOU WILL BE THROWING YOUR MONEY AWAY!!!
Other Thoughts: If Zalman wants to charge such high prices, put the quality into the parts and the functionality, not the aluminum anodizing. Over $400 for aTOTAL piece of rubbish.

Pros: Lit flow indicator to show you how miserable the flow is.
Temperature display is convenient
Cons: I have owned the reserator1, reserator2, and now the reserator xt. Reserator1 was my favorite. Completely reliable massive pump reservoir that heated your room like a furnace. Never had a single problem over the 4 years of ownership. Except for cleaning the inside of the reservoir once due to the paint coming off and clogging the pump. Easy clean.
Reserator2 failed me after 1 year of purchase. Just went dead exactly at 1 year of ownership. A shame.
Now, I think the reserator xt had a great design if you ever looked inside it. However, I believe that they should have used a larger pump, like 600 l/hr. The fluid has to travel through all the cooling coils, which is a long way to travel but an effective way to cool the fluid. The pump is just not cutting it and mine also molded up slightly somehow using the zalman coolant. Cleaned thoroughly with 97% rubbing alcohol and flushed with distilled water. Still seems to just disappoint me.

Pros: None
Cons: Everything about it is a con- It has been replaced once, I had to pay for shipping, the second unit is as bad as the first unit, Zalman uses subpar parts, then they charge way too much, it has a weak pump, it fails all the time, and I need to waste a bunch of time shaking it and messing with it to get it to work, this should not need to be done at all when spending this much money, let alone as much as I need to mess with this unit.
