The Zalman CNPS 7500 Cu is a sculpture in copper, featuring a quiet, downward blowing 110mm ball bearing fan at the heart of a radial array of copper convection fins. Blue LEDs give the impression of an alien powersource as they reflect off the metallic fins and demonstrate Zalman's reputation for combining style and function.
While the fan operates at low 32 dBA in its normal 2300 RPM setting, selecting Silent Mode using the included FAN MATE controller drops it nearly 50% to 17 dBA as well as eliminating vibration. With its unrestricted flow, it cools not only the CPU, but the RAM, VGA card, Northbridge and other nearby components.
Heat is drawn away from the CPU by the base of the copper heatsink and it is transferred up into the twin semi-circular arrays of copper fins for dissipation. The 7500Cu is a stylish and efficient addition to systems running Intel Socket 478 & 775 processors as well as the full range of AMD chips utilizing the 754, 939, 940 and AM2 sockets.

Pros: this is great. Brought my temps down considerably. (Athlon X2 5200+) Here's the temperature differences:
Stock AMD: upper 30s to mid 40s @ idle and as high as 55C under load. This sink: currently idling at 28C, at full load, its 45C
Cons: My thumb still hurts from the pressure of pushing the clip down.
Other Thoughts: I would definitely look into getting this brand again for future builds or upgrades.

Pros: Works great and installed with little problem. Did need a bit of force to get it to clip on but who wants it loose anyway? The LED is nice, not too bright. I personally didn't notice any problem with noise either, no louder then any other fan I have.
Cons: It might just be the layout of my foxconn board but the fan does cover up the first ram slot so if your using ram with heat fins it won't fit. Not a big deal but something to keep in mind.

Pros: Great Product. It brought my temps down a lot. Im using an AMD Athlon 64 Dual Core. My Pc Used to idle at about 37C and would go up to 65C under full load. It now Runs about 32C Idle and 48C under full load. Not too loud either. I really can't hear it over my case fans. Good product and price.
Cons: It is REALLY HEAVY. Be careful when you are moving your case around. Its on the motherboard securely, but with its weight I feel like its gonna break if I move it too much (it probably won't though). I would like the LED to be brighter as well but that is just a personnel preference.
Other Thoughts: I'm using a Motherboard Similar to ASUS M4A785-M AM3/AM2+/AM2 AMD 785G HDMI Micro ATX AMD Motherboard. I am using 3 of the 4 slots of RAM on my Motherboard and I had to move one over since the heat sink is so large. So if you are using one of these Motherboards or one similar to it keep this in mind. Otherwise this is a great product. I am currently building a computer for my wife and I will be putting one of these on her computer as well. For those of you who are looking to overclock. I have mine currently overclocked and its STILL running at a lower temperature than with the stock heat sink.

Pros: CPU now down to 47C when not busy, and up to 60C when 100% busy. It is also very quiet
Cons: o Difficult getting metal clip support to fit inside plastic retention frame. o Had to remove Chipset heat sink to allow metal latch clip to slip over metal support tab on one side. o Requires a lot of down pressure on second side to latch over other metal clip support tab.
Other Thoughts: This is a fantastic cooler!
I had a large block of copper held down by two metal clamps that are very awkward to install. Then one of the plastic tabs that holds the metal clamps down broke off. The heavy heat sink fell, hitting the Chipset heat sink and video card. It made a really loud clunk.
I had to replace the rentention frame, so bought this cooler to go along with. The CPU had been getting really hot with my previous cooler: up to 88C when CPU was 100% for more than 5 seconds.
This cooler now keeps CPU down to 47C, rarely getting to 60C. NICE!!!

Pros: Keeps my E8400 @ 31 degrees idle & 43 under load. Nice blue glow from the fan if you have a case window. Comes with a controller to manually control fan speed. Has bracket that supports the heavy weight from the underside of the mobo.
Cons: Very noisy, I can hear it over my 2x140mm, 4x120mm case fans especially when u crank it up. The copper fins are pretty flimsy, have to be careful not the bend fins while installing. The bracket puts a lot of stress on the CPU pushing against the mobo bulging that area of the mobo's PCB but does not stress it enough to damage the mobo's PCB traces.
Other Thoughts: Its a flat cooler instead of a stand up type so it takes up a lot of space in a circular radius. Make sure you have room and nothing is in the way (like DIMMs, connectors or even large cancaps) by the CPU.
