4 out of 5 eggsIt's BIG and quiet

Pros: Bought two of them one for a i7-920 1366 and i5-2500 1155 socket CPUs and it is very quiet and keeps temps low, even during high CPU utilization

Cons: Outboard fan controller and ribbon cable is so 1990's!

4 out of 5 eggsReviews say it all

Pros: I am amazed by this unit’s performance. I have this in my main workstation that is located in a room that lacks circulation. I am amazed that the CPU stays @ 34C when idle. It seems like the room warms up but not the CPU. The cooler I had before allowed the CPU to reach 60C. FYI, I have only had it for a day.

Cons: The clips are difficult to put on as stated in other reviews. Really, you will lose your mind if you are impatient. But, don't lose hope. It's doable and I have fat fingers. If it was not for the anoying clips they would get five eggs.

Other Thoughts: It will take you about two to three hours to do the whole job. Take your time as it is important.

5 out of 5 eggsHuge, but effective

Pros: Great looking cooler, comes with mountings for all processor types.

The fan can be plugged in to their FanMate controller to manually control the fan speed or direct to the motherboard where it runs at 1500rpm.

The cooler can be positioned in any of 4 directions to give optimum airflow and access to memory.

Running my i7-960 at 4ghz with this and it just touches 80C on 100% load.

Cons: Refitting the fan after installing the cooler can be tricky, the wire clips used aren't easy to position with the mb in the case and the cooler is so big that it obscures some of the mb screws when mounted - so it has to be fitted in the case.

4 out of 5 eggsKeeps my i7 so COLD!

Pros: -Keeps a i7 860 @ 4.0GHZ cold, around 56C on load.
-Comes with very good thermal paste!
-Fan blows a lot of air and it is quiet!

Cons: -Hard to install, had to ask my dad to help. Just remember to not push the pins in when your installing, you have to make sure they thread or else the little nuts in the plastic have fallen out, and you have to take it all apart.

Other Thoughts: Really good cooler! I love it. No silly LEDs to mess up the look of my white LEDs and black case style that I have going on!

5 out of 5 eggsHot, er... "Cool" dang.

Pros: Best heatsink ever in terms of cooling, quality, and features. Zalman is the only HSF company I'd buy from now. Temp are 30C under max load on all cores with my i5-750 at stock speed. My CPU is cooler than GFX which is cooler than my HDDs! :P

Cons: Only downside is that it's huge. You might have to install your RAM first before installing the HSF. At least that's what I had to do on my BIOSTAR Tpower i55.

Other Thoughts: I haven't used the fan controller yet so I can't say much about that, other than it looks pretty cool.

4 out of 5 eggsVery Cool.

Pros: Very quiet and efficient - just as all the reviews say. You can turn the thing just about any direction you want (in 90 degree increments, it's square like the processor). The speed control is good - works very well.

Cons: It has some unexpected vibration that transmits through the mounts to the board and then to the case - makes a very low hum-hum-hum sound. I can turn the speed down to alleviate that, but worry about the cooling efficiency.

Other Thoughts: Install can be a little tricky - as you have to hold the thing on the board sideways, in the thermal goop, and keep it steady while putting the mount screws through the board. Another person helping would really speed this up.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome!

Pros: Keeps the cpu COOL! I'm using an intel 2600K Oc'd to 4.4GHz with turbo enabled and it's never exceeded 69 degrees C on any of the 4 cores. Even with the fan control set to max speed it's still quiet.

Cons: It's big! Make sure it'll fit! Kind of expensive compared with other coolers, but you get what you pay for.

Other Thoughts: I thought with turbo enabled it would bump my speed 400MHz, but it read 5.6GHz in the benchmark program, I'd say this cooler is awesome to handle that.

5 out of 5 eggsDoes it's job

Pros: Looks cool (don't really care though since I don't have a window on my case.

I found it easy to install.

Has external fan control.

I am reading the output right now from Real Temp 3.6 and it is running my i7-870 at 30 on idle, with the lowest fan speed.

Cons: It's very big. I maxed out my ram slots, so It was a bit cramped. However, it is rectangular, not square, and you can orient it to avoid pushing up against your other components. Install your ram, or anything that would be near it before you install this guy.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat as advertised

Pros: Pretty effective cooler, even on an i7-950 OC'ed to 4.2. Temps never went higher than 73 Celsius in Prime95 stress tests. Very happy with the product.

Cons: Minor annoyance- the only fan control is manual using a hardwired controller. Awkward trailing it outside the case or tucking it away inside with no access. I believe the CNPS10X Extreme has a better fan control system, but is a big more spendy.

Other Thoughts: Make sure to really give the installation instructions a thorough read-through. It wasn't too difficult, but you will waste a little time if you don't remove the fan before mounting, etc.
