Pros: Very quiet

Cons: - Extremely wide, blocks the furthest DIMM slot on my motherboard and makes it very hard to get a screwdriver to the mounting screws
- Impossible to tell if you have it secured well enough, the screws don't like to line up to go through the mounting holes and strip very easily
- Skimpy on the amount of thermal compound in the box.

Other Thoughts: I can't recommend this and I'll be returning it for something that actually works in my new rig.

Pros: - Overclock Friendly, the fan delivered stable temperatures to the cpu
- Fits in slim cases
- Good quality, I like the copper heatsink that surrounds the fan
- Definitely quieter than a stock AMD fan

Cons: - Extremely difficult to install on AMD Motherboards, the provided screws fails to reach the provided backplate, The installation was only possible using a spare backplate.
- Several clearance issues (cannot use slots 4 and 2 for memory sticks), If you plan to use all four RAM slots, please do not buy this fan
- Despite being advertised as "quiet", the fan still happens to be loud, not just in use, but even in idle, based on my experience.

Cons: Poor design, poor documentation, just junk spent half a day to find out this was a nightmare. would not work I have 20+ years of building computers and have never seen such poor design. Zalman start over completely. You should clearly warn this cannot be done by one individual and should only be attempted on a motherboard before installation into case, and wow what poor pictures.

I purchased this because of the name Zalman. I used there products for years and they had good products and if there was a problem there was a phone number to get support but not now I’m sending it back and using the CPU fan that came with CPU.

There CPU was there strong point so think how bad there other products are.

Pros: Low profile, quiet, cools surrounding components, cost effective.

Cons: Included thermal paste isn't the greatest, but this is a review for the cooler.

Other Thoughts: This was purchased as the ASRock 970m requires a top down blower when paired with an FX-8350 in order to cool the tiny 4+1 VRM. This cooler when configured with proper airflow keeps CPU at 32 idle, 50-55ish under load, and the board in the 32-42 range. Very quiet, overhangs the VRM nicely to provide additional cooling support to surrounding components. Blocks off one RAM slot unless used with low profile ram, but I knew about that when I ordered it, so I'm not going to ding it on that.

Pros: Works well overclocking a hot running old Q6600 i scavenged. Very quiet and way cooler temps then the stock cooler. Fits within confines of an mATX mother board and does not extend out at all, its better then stock in every way. Also the build quality is phenomenal, look at all that copper!.

Pros: got this cooler to stuff in the Asrock M8, its got a Z87/97 Mobo, so I picked up a K-series processor for my build. Even in this thermally challenged SFF case I've seen a 10°C drop under load (70+° down to 60° max).

Cons: The mounting hardware does not include anything to stop the retainer nuts on the bottom from spinning during install, not worth an egg off, just be prepared.

Pros: terrific performance, really, hands down, fantastic, I can overclock the blitz out of my CPU (it is an a8-7600, but still) and it won't break 34 degrees C even with 2 massive Firepro V5800's in my tiny case going full blast

Cons: it does intrude into the RAM area so I can't use the rear most RAM slot, the backing plate would not remotely close to work to mount the cooler, I ended up using the plate that came with my motherboard and figured the rest of it out with the included hardware of both the motherboard and the cooler kit

the wire for the cooler seems bizarrely long for what it should be

Pros: Excellent cooling, low fan speed- runs quiet and very cool.

Cons: Low Profile design can crowd RAM if RAM has cooling fins (like mine). This is the only thing keeping me from giving 5 eggs.

Other Thoughts: I'd buy another one in a minute....in fact, I think I will!

Pros: This fan is extremely quiet. Fits on motherboard very securely. The instructions are excellent and all the parts it came with are very high quality.

Cons: The fan is very wide (large diameter) and also if you have a mATX motherboard, there's a really good chance you'll not be able to use one of your DIMM slots. I had 2 4GB DIMMs and could only fit one. So I decided to get one 8GB DIMM and put in the one accessible slot. Also, this thing is not an easy install, but once installed, it's on for the long haul.
