Cons: kept having high temps and throttling no matter what i did and i didn't use to much or to littler thermal past after the 7th time i notice the cooler wasnt properly made and one end was shorter than the other which is why it never properly seated on my fx8350

Other Thoughts: 2nd zalman cooler i bought and its worse than my 8350 stock cpu cooler as after this review im rma it after 7 times trying to install it properly i had enough and put it back in its box no other cpu cooler ive own has given me this much of a headache and im dissapointed to no end with it

Other Thoughts: I have been using cnps5 fan for years and always been happy. It is silent , gives great air flow and is very solid and durable. It Is very easy to install and can work with many sockets. I highly recommend this to have a great value and performance and save money. I saw other big fans sold for a lot more. This fan is a nice upgrade from stock coolers. It can help making more overclocking if needed. Problem now is that it is hard to find and many stores dont have them anymore. Grab one if you can while it lasts.

Pros: I wanted a better cooler than the one that came with my new FM2+ quad core, and I didn't want to spend a lot. This cooler is fabulous! It is SO quiet. I bought it for a new hot build -- and now I've ordered another, to quiet an older system that I'm re-purposing. This cooler will sit in a silent, headless system in the living room, and no one will even notice that it's there!

Cons: This rascal is on the tall side. MEASURE before you buy, to be certain it will fit.

Other Thoughts: I had no idea that I could get such a good cooler for so little money. I love it!

Pros: Keeps my Phenom|| 970 very cool, I have it overclocked to 4 ghz and my cpu never goes above 60 under heavy load, Isn't that noisy at all. Give you an example I have my video card set to 63% fan usage and it's louder than this CPU cooler. I think other reviewers either don't have good air flow or are simply setting things up incorrectly

Cons: Whish it would fit more sockets like a I7 2011-3 I will be upgrading to that soon and can't recycle that piece of hardware.

Pros: Inexpensive, effective

Cons: A bit noisier than expected

Other Thoughts: My 8 core CPU never gets above 52-53C at full load. Technically, it's noisier than expected. Technically, I can't hear it because of 480mm worth of cheapo case fans I have installed, and I game with headphones anyway. If you've got a thing for extra-quiet, get something else. If you just care about cooling your CPU well for little expense, I'd recommend it.

Pros: It was free.

Cons: This is an update to an earlier review "Noisy Fan". l emailed (support.usa@zalmanusa.com) Zalman with my complaint, and they sent me a new fan. The new fan sounds exactly like the old one. Thanks Zalman.

Other Thoughts: Zalman's Customer Support is great, just this product leaves a lot to be desired.

Pros: Looks nice. Slim and small.

Cons: Heat pipes have a very rough finish at the base and the cooler does not sit flush on my CPU. Manufacturer said this is normal.

Unnecessarily wide mounting. This cooler will not fit on a MSI A88XI AC V2 motherboard if you have a GPU installed.

Other Thoughts: Tried returning it, but shipping was expensive and not worth the hassle.

Pros: Looks good

Cons: l bought it in 9/13 and at the time l couldn't have been any happier with it. Looks good, good price, easy to install, and all from a well known company. Then little by little it got noisier, and noisier. Now it's to the point that l use that computer very little. This is in a smoke free home, and the inside of this computer gets cleaned on a regular basis.

Other Thoughts: l highly recommend buying from elsewhere. Maybe a Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO, that's the one l'm getting.

Pros: It works better than stock.
Brought cpu temp down a few degrees.

Cons: This thing is not silent! The longer you own it the louder it gets. Going on 2 years now and it is performing the same but is so loud I plan on replacing it.

Pros: Quiet, works well at first, cheap

Cons: Rarely used the computer this was used on, in a spare bedroom, back up pc. Today, the feet were broken on two of the posts and the HSF was leaning on my video card. Hope nothing got shorted on that. Absolute junk.
