4 out of 5 eggsCareful with 1150 Sockets

Pros: -Been quiet, at least so far. Certainly can't hear it above the fan noise, at least.
-Radiator fit on my case without any fuss, looks like there's a good amount of space if I feel like adding in another fan for push-pull

Cons: Backplate does not have a configuration for 1150 sockets. It is possible to fit it on, but it requires some considerable finagling and some might not be comfortable with the amount of force required to shape it to fit the sockets.

Other Thoughts: Still getting my build sorted out with drivers and the like, but before doing any overclocking I'm getting CPU temps of 20-25 celcius. Pump noise has been cited as a common problem but I haven't had any issues with that at least so far, I can't hear it at all above my fans. That said my case is a C70, which is a great chassis but isn't exactly the most quiet option out there. When turning the computer off I can hear the pump quietly running down for a few seconds, other than that I wouldn't notice it at all.

5 out of 5 eggsZALMAN LQ-310 Water/Liquid CPU Cooler 120MM

Pros: Ease of installing, quiet, does what it is designed to do.

Cons: fan could be better for cooling the radiator down faster

Other Thoughts: I bought this cooler to see if I wanted to get away from the fan/metal fin coolers. I installed it on an stock AMD 8350 cpu and the singe fan when playing games, has difficulty keeping up. I added a 2nd high volume/low noise fan and now the radiator doesn't get hot. I would have knocked an egg off for this but for most applications the radiator cooler would have been adequate.

5 out of 5 eggsRadiated and Satiated

Pros: After determining the AMD portion of the directions for my 9590 Processor and Sabretooth motherboard, the install was quick and easy. Make sure not the make the motherboard screws too tight! Started it up, temperatures held steady and so I went to work.
Returned 5 hours later to find everything still stable and cool. Went into bios to turn up the overclocking. Ran 2 browsers with 10 tabs each, ran Steam and Origin to run Awesomenauts, SimCity, Battlefield 3, Splinter Cell Blacklist, Team Fortress 2, Dragon Nest and The Sims 3 at the same time. Temperatures never exceeded 35 degrees Celsius.

Cons: Radiator screws were a little difficult to screw in through the case. Instructions a little confusing given the differences between Intel and AMD.

Other Thoughts: After my own stress test I found myself pleased with both the installation process and the performance of this product.

2 out of 5 eggsPoor quality. Lousy Customer service

Pros: Cheep (if rebate was honored), works well (keeps AMD 955 CPU fairly cool).

Cons: Noisy. Pump is much nosier than comparable Thermaltake used on another unit. Zalman denied rebate. Poor customer service.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: cheap
at idle my quad core is 40c under load 65c

Cons: needs a extra set of long fine thread screws other than that no problems

Other Thoughts: With the low price of this close loop cooler and reliability you cant go wrong its perfect for entry level over clocking & mid level gaming ZALMAN and newegg will see more of my business :)

4 out of 5 eggsWorks Fine with Intel LGA 1150

Pros: Advertised specs on this model claimed support for LGA 1150 but instructions only covered 1155, 2011, 1366, and 1156. Evidently the instruction sheet had gone to press before introduction of 1150 so I was a bit concerned with compatibility. Turns out the install process is exactly like 1155 except that the backplate will only fit if it is mounted off-center. Once I got past this, came together just fine. Temps on my OC'ed Intel Pentium G3258 (3.2GHz==>4.2GHz) are below 50C at idle.

Cons: This is my second LQ-310. The first has worked flawlessly for almost 2 years on my main system i7 extreme LGA1366. After installing the second unit, I noticed a distracting low-frequency pulsing sound that was not present on first unit. Eventually took care of problem by moving to closet but knocked off an egg anyway.

4 out of 5 eggsTaken on Rebate

Pros: Hi Folks, This product works extremely well , I have a MSI Motherboard 990 and a FX6300 CPU and I am overclocking at 4.0 and the CPU stays between 45 to 55 degrees constantly so overall I rate the product 4 eggs with no difficulty in installing it.
Now as for as the Rebate read below the horror story i went through and still not got the rebate which cost newegg 1 egg off of rating due to the fake and fictitious rebate scam !

Cons: Well first of all let me say to Zalman and the Readers out there , I have several years behind me on doing rebates almost since Newegg started the rebate program so I am very much aware of signing it and include UPC code from the box as well as a original invoice included so since I got this out of the way let me explain what happened !
I submitted my rebate as usual (invoice-rebate form) and got a email back saying I did not give a proper invoice so again I mailed out another Invoice that Newegg supplys and again I was denied the rebate but this time they said I was denied because of no UPC code label attached to rebate form which was on the first attempt so to summarize this situation I will no longer believe in Rebates and feel all Rebates are is fictitious and fake and feel Rebate are nothing more than a scam to purchase there product.

Other Thoughts: Also people let me say I don't blame Newegg for this Rebate scam because they have no control of the Rebate Reimbursement but I do hold them accountable if they don't pursue and get rid of all the fake rebates out there

Pros: Is a decent product for the price!

Cons: Pay attention to the rebate! The rebate expires today! Buyer beware, if you order this product you will most likely not receive your rebate!

5 out of 5 eggsWorks well, easy install

Pros: -easy install
-runs quiet but I'm using an antec P183 so YMMV.
-comes with screws long enough to attach a second fan, which I did successfully.
-tubing is flexible enough to make installation feel safe and easy to route tubing.

Installed on an AMD 970 Phenom II w/ ambient air temp of 76f.
-idle temp down to 30c
-max load, max temp 45c

Cons: The instructions are geared toward intel sockets. For an amd install it leaves certain details to be inferred such as the orientation of the plastic standoff offsets (they are oval and can be oriented 2 ways for intel installs but for amd only needs to go 1 way, but they don't say which way... Holes towards the outside for amd brackets).

5 out of 5 eggsWorks great, but only put on a CPU in silent systems

Pros: I got this cooler and the NZXT bracket to cool my top graphics card that would idle 5C hotter than the one under it. It works better than I had hoped, now the top card stays at least 5C cooler than the one under it.

Cons: The only (very minor) issue is that when it is mounted horizontally like I did there is a small amount of pump noise. Just enough to hear it when sitting next to the tower.

Other Thoughts: I would like to give a half-egg off, but Newegg doesn't work like that and its just as much my fault as Zelman's, so they get the full 5, especially for $46 after the mail-in rebate.
