2 out of 5 eggsDecent at cooling but not much else

Pros: It keeps my unoverclocked i7-920 15 degrees cooler than the stock heatsink/fan but then again so did my Corsair A50 and I would expect a liquid cooler to do better than a aircooled solution.

Cons: -Fan and waterblock take up a lot of space so make sure it will fit in your case before purchasing.
-The fan is not silent but at this price point you can't really expect an inlucded high-end fan
-The pump is very noisy for a closed loop watercooling system. Even louder than the fan.
-The heatsink that sits atop the cpu feels like cheap plastic and is prone to rattling.
-There are better products to be hat at the full retail price, only purchase when on sale

Other Thoughts: Not worth the price unless deeply discounted.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Little Cooler

Pros: Does a great job cooling AMD 8 core 8150. Reasonably easy to install. Prior to installing this I was constantly overheating the processor to the point of shutting down. After installation runs at a max of 33C. Have had it in the system for about a year and no problems.

Cons: If you are installing this make sure you have a case that will handle it. Installed on a Coolermaster HAF case and no problems. Installed in a Thermaltake Mid Tower and it was tight.

Other Thoughts: Go Newegg

5 out of 5 eggsSolid cooler

Pros: Keeps my CPU very cool, and does it rather quietly as well. Though the 990fx motherboard doesn't have an actual temperature sensor on the SMBUS speedfan reports idle temperatures of about 6-7C, much cooler than ambient even.

The installation was easy yet slightly vague, if you've installed any cooler before then it is cut and dry, make sure you use the right screws for your mounting bracket to avoid doing damage to your board (they look very similar, but one is in fact for intel and the other for AMD)

I have the cooler in a push/pull configuration with 2 fans and it runs silently on auto, the fan that is shipped with the cooler isn't the best fan but it certainly isn't a paperweight and will do the job fine.

Bottom line- This will do the job fine, 5/5 for the price.

Cons: Instructions at some parts were very vague, not enough to dock an egg for though.

Also, a tip- install the heatsink and fan on your exhaust port before you put the waterblock on, the tubing is semi-flexible but is a pain to do it the other way around.

Other Thoughts: Rig-

CPU-AMD FX 6300 piledriver, OC'd to 4.6 GhZ
Motherboard- Gigabyte 990fx-UD5
RAM-12gb 1600MhZ, 9-9-9-24, Corsair
PSU-Corsair 850w Black edition 80+ Gold certified
GPU- 2x MSI 7850, OC'd to 1100/1350 (core/memory)

Hyper transport link overclocked to 2.8GhZ
BCLK set to 205

Raidmax Smilodon case,modified with a dremel for extra fans, 3x 120mm intake fans, 4x 80mm side fans,2x 120mm exhaust fans (2x push/pull).

Smallest drive-bay holder taken out and filled with 6x 80mm fans to create intake wind-tunnel.
Intake fans are high CFM high static fans, I keep a dehumidifier outside the exhaust fans to create a low pressure field outside the case, so air is passively moving through it.

4 out of 5 eggsseems epic

Pros: There were a good amount of reviews that had stated an issue with the noise put out between the fans and the cooler. where there is more than silence i would say that this is about as quiet as awesomemazing gets. The instructions for setup/installation were easy ish to follow and since installation its been keeping temp like a champ.

Cons: Where the directions were easy ish, they were very vague

Other Thoughts: This is my first liquid cooler and after reading many reviews on newegg i decided to go with my gut and standard fan experience and give Zalman a shot. They did not let me down in product quality or performance. This is a reccommend for anyone on the fence for a liquid cooling unit

It was also kinda cool installing a radiator in the tower.

5 out of 5 eggsSuper Quiet! Keep my CPU low temp!

Pros: Super quiet. My desktop is literally right next to my face, all I hear are my case fans, nothing from the liquid cooler. My CPU is at low 30s constant. Absolutely easy to install even a caveman can do it!

Not sure what the negative reviews are about.

Cons: I like to display my boxes and turqoise is not my color of choice, other than that there isn't much to complain about this item.

Other Thoughts: I initially had Corsair H60, but sold that to get this Zalman LQ-310. Only reason for the change was because I have a Zalman Z9 Plus case and a Zalman GOLDROCK 750watt Power Supply. Didn't really expect anything great from the change because all I wanted was to keep it mostly Zalman. I ended up getting a super quiet liquid cooler and one that works better than other coolers i had before!

5 out of 5 eggsUpdate on Review

Pros: Newegg is great in expediting RMAs due to defective items. Thanks I given five stars for this great service, but not to the said item.

Cons: I had high hopes for Zalman but it seems their water coolers need some more work. Having the idea t hat water cooling is suppose to be quiet, this is not. The rattles didn't settle down which some reviewers claimed, so it seems my item must of been defective as the rattles sounded like a baby shaker.

Other Thoughts: Zalman needs to improve on their quality if they are to compete in this market. The RPM rating for the water block pump is too low which might account for the rattles or pump noise.

2 out of 5 eggsNoisey

Pros: Easy to install, no fuss, long tubes about 11 inches, very low maintenance, cools 95W CPU very well.

Cons: Very loud pump, cheap fan, pump creates a gurgling rattling noise very annoying.

Other Thoughts: If your using this for a quiet system look to corsair or another brand. These aren't quiet enough for an HTPC build or a quiet pc.

4 out of 5 eggsVery Very good

Pros: It is fairly easy to install, pre thermal was applied, pump is quiet and the fan isn't loud.

Cons: It would've been nice if the fan could've been flipped over to the other side but the design prohibits that.
