5 out of 5 eggsWorked better than expected

Pros: Temps are really nice relative to noise (although note this was installed on a Skylake LGA1151 i5-6600K system, so you aren't going to get crazy thermals on stock anyway). This was even with the stock grease that it came applied with. The hoses managed to bend fairly well around - I had installed the dual fan stack config, so the whole block jutted out until it almost hovered over the processor, and so you had to route the head all the way around to get it on the socket. The grip was apparently pretty good but didn't feel unsafe. Looks nice in case once installed with softer blue LED.

Cons: Getting the dual fans on the sides of the radiator was a bit of a pain. Actually the fan that Zalman shipped was the hard one, the one I reused and put on the back of the case (CM Storm Scout 2 Advanced) was just fine screwing into the radiator. The directions, as others have noted, barely suffice. Strongly recommend you pre-place the parts before you glue the stickers or screw anything onto the mobo other than the backing plate screw sockets. The front-side parts should ultimately "snap" onto the copper head before you actually drive them down onto the socket. If they aren't fitting or are loose before then, your alignment is off.

Other Thoughts: Note for n00bs like me: DON'T install this before you are done with anything in the area you are going to install in. The sheer amount of bulk from a full config will make anything else hard to reach.
Note as per earlier in this review, this does work on LGA1151, that's not made explicit in documentation or on Interweb but it does work just fine.

2 out of 5 eggsWas A Big Fan of Zalman

Pros: Looks nice, Runs Quiet, and wasn't that expensive.

Cons: Allowed my CPU to fry while gaming as it did not cool my FM2 A10-5800K AMD CPU properly. Because of this my computer shut down frequently due to CPU overheating until it finally fried.

Other Thoughts: Zalman from my past experience use to make some really good fans for cooling a lot of which I bought for my VGA Cooling on my video cards which I was quite happy with. Perhaps I just lucked out & got a bad one who knows, but because of this experience I can promise you this much. I will never again by any liquid coolers. This was defiantly a one time only experience as I refuse to chance burning up a 2nd CPU. With the way mine cools I would have to go threw CPU's like a child goes threw candy, and I just cant afford that!

5 out of 5 eggsWorks Great

Pros: Was fairly easy to install, works very well, my cpu ran around 60 deg C. under full load (overclocked), it now runs around 40 deg C. under full load (overclocked). My cpu now runs a couple deg cooler than the inside of my computer. The fan on the radiator doesn't have to run at full speed to keep cpu cool so it is much quieter than the stock cpu fan I had prior.

Cons: Instructions needed to be more in-depth. I know the old saying: "a picture is worth a thousand words" but would of been nice to have a description for each picture/ step of the installation.

Other Thoughts: I would recommend this to others who have the technical knowledge of removing their motherboard and other components.

5 out of 5 eggsWater Cooling for dummies

Pros: That sure runs cool...
The stock Athlon fan ran @ 43 -46 c,
Zalman @ 31 c.
It's very quiet.

Cons: This was my first water cooler installation and the directions were of little use. I had to remove and reinstall 4 times despite this I did manage to not put my fist through a wall.

After installed was complete I understood the directions perfectly.

Other Thoughts: If you live in south west where the temps are very high this is a good way to keep your CPU from throttling back.

I'm running dual fans one on each end of the radiator.

1 out of 5 eggsBeware of Conductive Fluid

Pros: Unknown

Cons: I confirmed with Zalman that the fluid is conductive, unlike some other fluids used in open or closed loop systems. It can and will short out components.

1 out of 5 eggsGreat Until I Had No Computer

Pros: Unknown

Cons: The elbow joint connecting the hoses to the cooling block popped off while articulating the parts into place for installation. This is the 4th AIO CPU cooler I have owned and installed. I didn't do anything beyond the norm, just gently positioned hoses when it disconnected. I thought I reassembled the joint back into the block properly, but after being placed under load and engaging the pump for the first time, the block sprayed coolant all over the inside of my machine, including all over my GPU resulting in it burning out. I am still assessing all the damage, but I know at a minimum the GPU is fried out.

Other Thoughts: The idea behind water cooling is not to spray water all over your computer.

5 out of 5 eggsSo cool

Pros: Sleek, solid, quiet.
This cooler is great. Granted it's new but the overall quality is great. The components all appear solid. My build puts this cooler with an FX-8350 CPU and it's great. Under full load the CPU never peaks past 50c. Idle with no load can drop me down to 7c. All temps measured with CoreTemp.
The overall feel of this cooler is solid and quality. the instructions are a bit vague but not impossible to work with. The install is a breeze and once fully connected feels very sturdy. All parts are quality and I don't feel any of the included brackets or screws are subpar. Even with the fan at 100% it's volume is not horrendous. I would suggest a second fan added to the setup so you have push-pull airflow but the one fan does very well. I would recommended this cooler to anyone.

Cons: The only real con I have is that only one radiator fan is included. I think if a second was added it would be an even better value. Not enough of a con to remove an egg though.

4 out of 5 eggsgreat

Pros: works great..fx 9370 o/c'd to 5.0ghz and runs cool enough. i added a pull fan. looks great with led.

Cons: -1 egg instructions were more for intel config and kinda hazy for amd. they should just make a short vid and link to it on newegg or at least on their site. but everything is included.
