Pros: Cheap, easy to set up, small enough to fit where you need. It came with an adhesive strip so there's not need to find a place to screw it down, although there is a slot on the edge of it for a screw, so you do have that option.

Cons: None that I've found yet.

Other Thoughts: I had 1 fan that would kick in at timed intervals that was was super loud at 100%. Now I've got it running at a constant 25% that keeps it cool and quiet.

Pros: Small and simple.

Cons: Does not work. Was dead on arrival. Not work the return shipping since it was only $8. It does not control any of my three case fans. Waste of time and money.

Pros: pretty great does what is says

Cons: none really

Pros: Small, simple, inexpensive, does exactly what it says on the packet.

Cons: Wiring can become a bit of a spaghetti mess if you use more than one or two of these in one computer.

Cons: This thing died out very fast (about 5 days in) although I have been too lazy to remove it from my computer as the computer is still very cool without that particular fan. I wouldn't recommend it. Just a waste of money really. It does have a nice concept which is very simple, they just need to up the quality so that it doesn't die out so fast.

Not really sure what would be better though.

Pros: Nice long cable and very attachable.

Cons: Wish it would go even slower, but it's fine.

Other Thoughts: Got this because my mobo only has one fan header. Did the job just fine. Loved how long the cable was.

Pros: Works, brought down my fan speed from a loud 9900 rpm to a tolerable 5000 rpm.

Cons: I bought 3 of these and one came DOA. When I first opened the box I noticed the packaging on the product was a bit on the flimsy & old; as if they were in storage for a while.

I ended up connecting the DOA (not knowing it didn't work) one fully into the case with its double sided tape and such. Long story short, after I realized it didnt' work, I tried to take it off my case for a return and ended up breaking the zalman encasing open.

From the encasing now being opened I did notice some oxidation on the circuit board; so now sure if that's on Zalman's side of things or poor storage on Newegg's.

Other Thoughts: The other two work, so I guess that's good.

Pros: It's cheap and it does what it says it does.

Cons: Its limitations come from the design itself. Once you hook it up to your fan, if you want control of the fan you have two options:
1. Adjust the fan and leave the controller inside the computer case. If you want to adjust the fan, you have to open the computer case.
2. Make a hole, or use of the empty PCI slots and remove the cover and run the cable through it and then you have to attach the controller to the computer (at least they provide a piece of 2 sided tape to attach to your computer). The cable is about 18", which is a pretty good length.

Other Thoughts: Now that I think about it, even if you turn the knob all the way down the fan still spins, which can be a good thing depending on your p.o.v.

Pros: None

Cons: TJ08B-E with standard 18 cm case fan and Nexus D12SL-12 cooler fan. Case fan would not start rotating, and speed on the Nexus went from a high of 1200 to a low of 1113 rpm.

Other Thoughts: This is a common case and a common cooler fan. For me it was a waste of $15

Pros: Works as advertised well, no problems.

Cons: Doesn't support all types of fans and their associated power connectors.

The mounting for it would cause it to sit inside my case, so I had to jury rig it on the outiside. The mounting brackets won't work for all computers that have 3.5" bays.

Other Thoughts: Make sure that your 3.5" bays are all flush with the front of the case and that there are screw holes witin 1.5" of the plastic bay covering, otherwise it won't mount with screws.
