1 out of 5 eggsstick on not a good idea

Pros: None. They don't stay on.

Cons: There needs to be a better solution for these regulator/RAM heatsinks, the sticky tape is awful. If you move your PC or even bump it, they fall off and you have to yank everything out again.

4 out of 5 eggsFast and Convenient

Pros: Easy to stick on, moderate heat transfer which is what I expected, cheap. Stays on after a little cleaning with a cleaning pad and alcohol.

Cons: heat transfer could be better, but then again it is double stick tape.

Other Thoughts: I bought these for some uncomfortably hot chips on my ASUS motherboard (one where they decided it didn't need a south bridge cooler). Helps a lot. I don't know if I'd trust them for a high heat application. They're just handy for that one hot chip or two.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Put them on an x1900 XTX that I was watercooling. Worked fine.

Cons: I had some trouble getting them on, after I put my card in the slot one of them fell off. When I was doing computer maintenence the other day another one fell off. But I just stuck it back on.

Other Thoughts: No better or worse than other heatsinks. Fancier ones offer no real advantage, they all cool basically the same.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat for Side Projects

Pros: Great heatsinks, even the thermal tape worked for me the first time. I did follow the instructions and cleaned the surface. I used these heat sinks to cool my Linksys Gigabit switch.. or so I can toss that atrocious fan that is louder than hell. So far the switch has been running better than with the fan, slightly higher network traffic.

Cons: Maybe they could be a little bigger, but thats about it.. or shall i say wider but who am I to care, they did the job.

Other Thoughts: Got some extra heatsinks left over for another project down the road. Overall I am very happy with the product and wouldn't mind buying some more..

4 out of 5 eggsA good product

Pros: Inexpensive
Lightweight
Decent adhesive pads

Cons: Don't mess up placing the heatsink, it doesn't stick worth a darn after the first placement.
The pads seem to stick to some surfaces better than others: no problem on my VRM, nothing but problems on the ram.

Other Thoughts: Ended up using expoy on the ram, but these little guys are now stuck all over my x1950.
The instructions say the pads achieve 90% of their strength after 24 hours. What it doesn't say is that they have 10% of their strength initially. Ideally, you'd slap these on very carefully and then not touch the card for the next 24 hours while the pads set.

5 out of 5 eggsCold Blue

Pros: Lightweight, low and high clearance sinks, excellent design (disperses heat very efficiently, material isn't everything, although it does matter) Thermal pads stick very well, they also aren't too bad to take off if you want to use thermal epoxy instead. Backside heat sinks are genius.

Cons: Would like to see more sinks in a package for newer cards as 8 full sizes is what you're looking for with say a X19xx or 7xxx, but you can always buy two, and you get backside heat sinks, which is awesome.

Other Thoughts: Thermal pads in general, stink for OC. Why? Used them with the pads they came with, OC at 107% of stock stable, with Artic Silver ASTA-7G, successful overclock of 125% of stock stable. Yeah, that much. Copper is better, also more expensive and heavier, but as I said, design on these rock, get these, or get Thermaltakes CL-C0025 if you need low clearance, or get Swifttech MC14 if you have the clearance and want the best of the best. These things though, are totally awesome. As always clean your surfaces before placing and results vary, but these things I recommend highly.

5 out of 5 eggsNice and Cool

Pros: The exact same height as my VGA heatsink so no clearance problems. Easy installation didn't take 5 minutes. I could actually feel these things putting off heat while the card was under load. Didn't realize VGA RAM got that hot!

Cons: None, great product!

Other Thoughts: Read the instructions, you can't mess this up if you can read. They look cool too. Come with two different sizes, one for front RAM and one size for RAM on underside of card. Thanks Zalman and thanks NewEgg for the quick shipping.

4 out of 5 eggsHmmmm

Pros: Great looking heatsink! COmes with low-profile x 4 and regular x4 sinks. Fits VGA RAM great!

Cons: THe thermal adhesive is very picky. On some surfaces, it sticks like a charm! However, on other surfaces which has thermal pads applied to them prior to this installation, its very hard to stick them on. THey will stick, but come off when oused or tugged.

Would recommend some THermal Adhesive.

Other Thoughts: Maybe use some REAL thermaltape, not thermal - "suction cup" like stuff...

3 out of 5 eggsHalf of them worked.

Pros: The shorter ones stuck to my VGA RAM just fine.

Cons: The taller ones didn't stick at all.

Other Thoughts: Adhesive is terrible.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat

Pros: They do what they're supposed to. No overheating on my video card.

Cons: Would have liked thermal adhesive instead of the double sided thermal tape.

Other Thoughts: Buy em.
