3 out of 5 eggsGreat fan, but a very difficult to set in place.

Pros: The quietest fan you can probably buy.
Works very well.

Cons: Very sharp, just like all the other reviews, you will most likely cut your fingers trying to get this fan to lock in.
Took me and my inexperienced computer pal approximately 20-30 minutes to get this fan to stay. We were really worried we were going to break the motherboard. Eventually we assumed the only way to get the metal prongs to stay down was to physically bend them straighter than they were suppose to be. That sucker is locked in place. But if we ever want it to come off, I'll probably have to use a bandsaw.
It also has the worst placement ever for the wire. There is almost no comfortable place to put it. Also it comes straight out from the back of the fan cutting it really close to the fans blades, so if your fan is making any noise at all, it is most likely because the wire is hitting the fan.

Other Thoughts: If you are okay with spending some extra time and sanity to attach this fan to your CPU, I would recommend it. Now that the building of my computer is finally over with, it's totally worth it.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Sink, Instructions Install Could be Better

Pros: This sink does a great job of cooling and is very quiet for its performance. My previous stock sink was much more audible and couldn't keep up with my demands. Now, CPU is staying at or below room temp (measured using CPUID's Hardware Monitor) with the remote cranked up to the max.

Cons: The instructions for installing the device indicate a separate lever/latch for Intel devices vs AMD. This is not the case, and both use the latch. This confused me greatly during the install as I was worried I lost the Intel latch. Additionally, the remote control is cute, but the sink would probably benefit from a 4 pin plugin to allow my computer to control the fan.

Other Thoughts: Honestly, this is my first experience with a third party heat sink and it is working great. I was concerned about the noise level, but this is far quieter than the stock sinks I have used in the past. I would recommend this for anyone needing a good heat sink and who doesn't mind setting the fan at max.

5 out of 5 eggsBeautiful cool and quite

Pros: It took some studying of the instruction manual and installation illustrations but I got it installed in 5 mins, no cuts or breaks etc.
Very quite, in fact it becomes more quite at full speed.

Cons: The heatsink is so large it can be easily bumped by your hands inside of a cramped small case. If you bump it, it can rotate just very slightly out of alignment, but is easy to twist back into alignment with gentle pressure. I wondered if this was because it was too lose, but everything is tightly mounted.

Other Thoughts: I wish it came in more LED colors, red, yellow, green etc. I could only find blue.

5 out of 5 eggsAn Amazing Difference

Pros: I have only had this thing in for a few days but I can tell I am very happy with this purchase.
- The Price. A very good cooler for the price.
- Looks awesome. I have a windowed case and this thing really stands out.
- It works. My CPU has had a 10-15 Degree celsius drop in temps since putting this in. Generally seeing 25-30 idle and 40-50 when gaming
-It's quiet. I had the stock fan on my Processor (see below) Originally. My case sits on my desk literally a foot and a half from my head. The stock fan would get really loud when playing my games. I have this fan on full blast and I can't hear it at all.

Cons: - Only con i have is that I wish it was a 4 pin variable. But I knew this when I bought it so not going to doc an egg for it. It comes with a small turning knob to control fan speed which I stuck to the back of my case. Out of sight but easily accessible. as I said earlier, I just keep it on full blast.

Other Thoughts: - I have read some reviews that users had issues installing it. I did this crazy thing and read the directions and had no issues at all it took me about 4 minutes to get this in. it would have taken less, but I wasn't paying attention to the fan side and installed it backwards the first time I put it in. Lucky for me I realized it as soon as I (Thought i was) Finished
- This thing is big. Make sure you look at its dimensions befor you purchase. when I checked my case the only thing I was worried about was that I knew it might be real close to my ram. it ended up being about 1/4 of an inch away so it fit perfectly.

Additional System information:
Case: RAIDMAX Scorpio V ATX-503WB
OS: Windows 10
MOBO: Gigabyte 970A-UD3P
Graphics: Gigabyte GV-N970XTREME-4GD
Processor: AMD FX 8350
RAM: 32GB G SKILL Ripjaws (overkill I know. but...why not)

5 out of 5 eggsThe most solid CPU cooler IMO.

Pros: Quiet. Adjustable speed. Blue LED. Fairly easy to install. Keeps my CPU cool as a motha.

Cons: None for me!

Other Thoughts: Keeps my Core i5 at around 35C under heavy gaming and around 32C most other times. This is one of the most popular CPU coolers for a reason!

3 out of 5 eggsThings to note

Pros: Solid copper and cool to the touch right-out-of-box.
Sleek design.
Simple/versatile efficient.

Cons: Sharp fins, easy to nick/cut yourself on here and there.
Depending on your board/case, you'll have problems mounting this cooler unless you attach it PRIOR to installing the MoBo.
No 4-Pin connection, instead they give you a proprietary adapter to manually control fan speeds*

Other Thoughts: *I'd rather let my system automatically control my fan speeds.
Wish that the mounting for this unit was a little more solid than a spring-steel clip that makes me feel like I'm going to snap my silicone board in half...
Seriously, it's a little taller than a can of coke and obviously larger all-around, but until you see it for yourself, it's difficult to judge the dimensions.
