EVERCOOL EC-MC-BL Aluminum Heatsinks only

Pros: They work and are cheap

Cons: Nothing.

Pros: Inexpensive.

Cons: 1.) Instructions describe white seals on the coolers yet there was no tape on them when they were delivered.

2.) Why have just 1 thermal tape if most RAM has two sides with chips. It should come with 2 thermal tapes for each side.

3.) Misspelling in instructions + cruddy instructions = No confidence for me in this product.

4.) Evercool's website is awful.

Other Thoughts: If you have a case with a window and want to look cool then check it out. I haven't seen any change in performance or decrease in temp after monitoring this.

Pros: I had some cheaper RAM with no heatsinks, and after buying some more expensive Gskill RAM that did have heatsinks, I wanted to do an overclock. These heatsinks seem to work well, and I really like the anodized blue color-- it helps it match a lot better with the newer RAM. Combined with a RAM fan my setup seems to be working quite nicely so far.

Cons: Attaching the RAM using the double-sided tape can be tricky-- on one of my sticks I had to yank it off after it was already attached and re-do it, because it was off-center and would not fit in the slot. Make sure you give yourself plenty of clearance near the hinges too, since they can be a bit of a pain if you don't do it right.

Also, the blue finish scratches off when you attach the clips. If you get it right the first time though, it shouldn't be a problem.

Other Thoughts: It's exactly what it says on the tin-- heatsinks for your RAM. If your computer came with RAM that had no heatsinks, and if you are either concerned about heat or want to do overclocking, then this is definitely worth a purchase unless you go the more expensive route of replacing your RAM.

Also, if you are worried about the finish scratching off and don't care so much about the color, you may want to go for the copper version.

Pros: Easy to use, bought them for myself but I didn't need them. I was able to place on my daughters mem sticks and she really liked that they looked cool like her dad and brothers computers. (what 7 y/o needs vengeances or rip jaws for their first rig)

Cons: Only one per pack, only good for no frill basic mem sticks

Other Thoughts: Easy enough my daughter put them on herself. Many more colors are made just we must have overlooked

Pros: Very effective. Does it's job.

Other Thoughts: There is only one per package. Some people commented that it looks like there's two.

Pros: Keeps your RAM cool.
Fits snug with correct RAM sticks.
Looks nice.
Looks expensive inside the case.
Universal size. One size-fits most, if not all.

Cons: Must have chips on both sides of the memory stick or else the heatsinks are not going to fit together properly.

The double faced tape that it comes with.

Other Thoughts: I get the idea that the double faced tape is to make for a secure fit, but doesn't this get in the way of the cooling purpose of the heatsinks?

I love that these are so cheap and give your memory sticks a custom and expensive appeal to them.

Pros: Cheap and somewhat easy to work with. Helps with the memory cooling

Cons: Instructions could have been better...took a few times reading the instruction (w/ pictures) to figure out what set of stickies to use on the memory and the cooling vents.

Other Thoughts: Works good for the price...wish the instructions where better.
