Pros: Thinner then my older 60mmx25mm fan used to cool the NB on the 780i so its not hitting my CPU heatsink/fan assembly anymore which is a plus.

Quiter then expected and keeps my MCP cooler which is another plus.

Like the silver fan housing. Better then just plain old Black

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Wish the mobo maker would supply a good NB fan instead of making us buy one later to keep the darn thing cool.

Great for nForce NB heatsink

Pros: This works as a fantastic replacement for the stock fan on the northbridge heatsinks you find on the current nForce 7-series motherboards. Mine is an EVGA 750i, which comes with a black clip-on plastic fan. The stock fan blows hot air DOWN through the heatsink onto the graphics card...not very cool (literally). I replaced that fan with this one by using zip-ties to attach it to the heatsink, and have it pulling air upward towards the CPU heatsink. This fan is made out of aluminum, so it HELPS CONDUCT HEAT away from the heatsink! Absolutely perfect.

Cons: Noise level is high unless you have a method of reducing the fan speed (see other thoughts)

Other Thoughts: I bought a Zalman FanMate for this fan, set at its lowest speed. The fan is now barely louder than the other fans in my case, and my system is built for low-noise. I HIGHLY recommend this fan for anyone who is unhappy with the stock NB fans on their 750, 780, 790 motherboards.

Pros: Great little fan if you've got any air flow slots on your case you want to add a fan too. I've got an Xclio Windtunnel that has grill openings all over the case. Particularly one above a few inch gap over the power supply. Couple screws and nuts and this fan was slapped in as an exhaust over my PSU pumping more air out that collects in the top of the huge case.
