5 out of 5 eggsWorks

Pros: Looks cool. Decent fan; pretty much what you paid for.

Cons: None. See other thoughts.

Other Thoughts: MUST use included screws. Obviously the aluminum shroud won't receive traditional fan screws. You knew this though, because it's aluminum.

Fan is just painted chrome to match, but I imagine a metal fan would be dangerous.

4 out of 5 eggsHeavy!

Pros: Very solid and heavy fans.
Comes with 3 pin header and adapter to 4-pin molex.
Comes with non-standard screws.

Cons: These fans are surprisingly thick. They might not fit under your case's front panel.
These fans don't use standard fan screws. What's more, they can only be attached on one side. This is OK for blowing air outside the case, but if you want it blown into the case they must be mounted on the outside. Or use bolts, not included.

Other Thoughts: As a child of the 70s, I love me some chrome.
These are flashy without being rice, IMHO.

5 out of 5 eggsstill working

Pros: still works! use as a cpu heatsink fan. now it's a case fan for my mini tower.

Cons: got a lil noisy but not that bad honestly.

Other Thoughts: the screw points dont exactly work the same way as the plastic housing fans. (this one has metal housing) fat stubby fan screws will not work on this.

5 out of 5 eggsNice fan if you like the chrome *look*

Pros: This looks *very nice* in my Thermaltake Kandalf chrome colored chassis.
Installation was too simple....it was as if it was made for my case.
Replaced that horrid orange colored fan that was in there.
I have no problems what-so-ever with noise.
Thanks to newegg....this was one Super Value.

Cons: None I have found so far.

3 out of 5 eggsNice n' Quiet, but RPM sensing doesn't work

Pros: Attractive. Aluminum case is neat looking, but basically just a gimmick.
Quiet. I read mixed reviews, but both of mine are nice and quiet.

Cons: The RPM sensors don't seem to work on mine. Neither my ASUS mobo nor either of my fan controllers get a signal from them.
The aluminum case makes mounting a little extra difficult. The supplied (tapered) screws go in a lot easier than standard fan screws.
Also, the suction side has countersinks around the screw "holes" (actually slots). I mounted grills on them, and the screws barely reached enough material to hold.

Other Thoughts: I purchased my fans elsewhere

2 out of 5 eggsnice ..... at first

Pros: great price good look. dont know much about these things but i do know what a loud fan sounds like. fit perfect in my hp case i was looking at these for a long time before i figured out what size i needed.

Cons: great for the first month or so... last week i noticed it was getting louder. now i really cant stand it i might try to lube it a little but this fan got loud and thats really the only con i can think of.

Other Thoughts: i'm thinking about getting another case and i was looking at some i could put this fan into... now i'm hessitant to buy another case just on the premise of not wanting to waste the money i spent on this fan.... looks like i might have to buy another one anyways

5 out of 5 eggsGreate Fan!

Pros: Used this as a replacement fan on a CPU heat sink. It worked great! I have several of the 80mm version of this fan. They have been great to. The best fans I have used. They move a lot of air. Nice looking too.

Cons: None.

4 out of 5 eggsokay fan

Pros: nice aluminum construction, relatively quiet.

Cons: not too much

Other Thoughts: It's a lot quieter than the Antec fan it replaced, but it's still not as silent as an Arctic Cooler fan I have with fluid dynamic bearings. On the manufacturers website, this fan is specified to move about 38 cfm, which is probably about right. The aluminum construction is nifty, but I fail to see much redeeming value in that, and the blades are still made of plastic. It's okay.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat fan, very quiet!!!

Pros: Move a lot of air, very quiet. You can barely hear this thing running at full speed which is actually 2600 rpm.

Cons: Work as an intake fan only, but thats what I was looking for anyway.
