5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: It works and still going strong.

Cons: Noise.

Other Thoughts: It is attached to my GPU and cools it considerable compared to stock fan.

4 out of 5 eggsNice 92MM fan

Pros: Moves a ton of air, comes with a 3 pin to 4 pin molex connector which is a nice option. At 70% speed it's still really quiet, fairly impressive.

Cons: Spider filter is worthless, but then again you can just toss it. At full speed it's a bit noisy, but it's a high RPM 92mm fan... Really can't avoid that. Minus one egg for an annoying alternation between a fairly ignorable low pitched "whine" and a not-so-ignorable high pitched whine. Giving it a quick slap fixes it, and it could always be my mobo so I'm not taking off more eggs.

3 out of 5 eggsDon't waste your money

Pros: Moves a decent amount of air, Fan looks cool, beyond that... Nothing...

Cons: Fan is too loud for the amount of air that it moves, you're better off to go with the bgears XPF92.R.PWM for $1 cheaper. The filter may be the selling point, but its not all that good in reality. Maybe if you replace the filter element with a finer one it may be worth it. But, I doubt it!!

Other Thoughts: Just buy the bgears XPF92.R.PWM, you won't regret it!!

5 out of 5 eggsMine's quiet

Pros: I got mine in late 2005; I'm wondering from the more recent reviews if the quality of these fans went down. I've never noticed any sound from mine at all (of course I probably have a bit of a loud case, and with two kids I can hardly hear myself think, let alone these little fans).

Cons: With my fan, none at all except the rather odd-looking spider filter.

3 out of 5 eggscheap blades, too loud for silent computers.

Pros: good price, free fan filter. looks cool.

Cons: not very efficient, the fan blades could have been manufactured better. it makes a semi-loud whirring sound. the bearing/spindle seems very lose. when slowed down with a fan controller it makes an occasional low popping sound as the fins kind of hop on the spindle.

Other Thoughts: At normal speed the fan does not make any sounds from the bearings, however the whirring sound is a bit louder than other fans at the same speed. Overall it isn't loud, although it's unacceptable if your building a silent computer. (Side Note: i did not use the fan filter)

3 out of 5 eggsAverage

Pros: This fan is rated at .17 amps and has good cfm's. Red is cool for the show.......

Cons: The db's are greater than the SILVERSTONE RL-FN91 92mm Case Fan which has a .22 amp rating and better cfm's at a much lower db (at low speed or high it doesnt matter).

5 out of 5 eggsDecent fan...

Pros: The fan is relatively quiet for the amount of air it is moving. It is definitely one of the better 92MM fans out there. The other fans are either too loud, or they don't move enough air.

Cons: The spider filter is ridiculous. It is going in the trash can. Also, I'm not too keen on the cheap red look the fins carry.

5 out of 5 eggsNot bad...

Pros: Hey, it's a fan and it moves air. It's not obscenely loud. I was looking to fill my case up with as many fans as I could without a lot of noise and this helped do the job. I have a vent right above my CPU so I rigged up some zip ties and voila! An extra fan blowing onto my cpu. It's dropped the idle temp by a whole 5C which definitely helps for OCing.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: I never used the cheesy, "Spider Filter," since I think it's completely worthless and I dust out my case regularly anyways. It only seems like it would reduce airflow anyways.

4 out of 5 eggss'ok

Pros: Moves quite a bit of air with the filter off. I wanted as much airflow as possible so I wasn't interested in the filter anyway.

Cons: 22dBA? I don't think so. Take an 80mm Tornado and put it on a nexus fan controller and turn it all the way down and that's the sound you'll hear. Definitely not as quiet as one would think (Just ordered a 120mm rated 25dBA - can't wait to hear that thing!).

Other Thoughts: Notice the edge of the fan - there's no edge in the center between the screw holes. This can make mounting slightly less stable on a Thermalright heatsink with their wire mounting. Then again, this is a case fan, not a heatsink fan.
