2 out of 5 eggsTerrible product.

Pros: They spin, aren't annoyingly loud and move a decent amount of air.

Cons: The machine work on the sleeve bearing is terrible. The fan shaft (which the blades are attached to) was made too small for the sleeve, so when the fan is powered, the fan shaft rides around the walls of the sleeve and starts shaving metal off. These fans aren't going to last long before the metal shavings completely tear up the fan and make it quit working.

No point in sending them back, it'd cost double in shipping.

Other Thoughts: I bought two of these fans because they fit the size spec for a customers' DVR, which has failing fans. I'm not sure I should even bother installing these, as they're worse than the already near failed fans existing in the unit.

5 out of 5 eggsexcellent replacements

Pros: As small fans go these are great. They replaced two aging fans in my small desktop and are actually considerably quieter than the original ones even when the controller kicks them to high they are quieter than the originals and move more air.

Cons: none yet, we'll see in a years time or so.

Other Thoughts: great deals Newegg!

3 out of 5 eggs

Pros: The fans have decent airflow. If you slow them to about 1/2 speed with an external controller, the noise level becomes tolerable.

Cons: Although advertised as less than 26dB, they are still quite loud. I would guess them closer to 36dB. One of these fans is much louder than the stock fan that came with my AMD Sempron64 3100+ stock (though it is quieter than the fan that came on my old Pentium III-550). With 3 of these fans in my PC running at full speed, I can hear it running from the next room.

Other Thoughts: I would not recommend this fan for an HTPC case.

4 out of 5 eggsPretty OK fan

Pros: Decent airflow
RPM reporting
20mm thickness

Cons: Noise

Other Thoughts: Thinner than standard - I added these as extra exhaust fans about my graphics card. Can be a bit loud - manageable with an external fan speed controller.

2 out of 5 eggsEvercool EC6020 60mm Ball Case Cooling Fan - Retail

Pros: The fans are quiet, you can't hear them over my seasonic power supply (which is quiet to begin with).

Cons: You get what you pay for. After a few days, it started to rattle.

5 out of 5 eggsgood

Comments: Outputs good amount of airflow which can be heard at around 26dba. You can use the included 3-to-4 pin adapter to do the 7v mod and decrease the noise (and the cfm) - it'll be extremely quiet then.
