2 out of 5 eggsNot built to last

Pros: * Lasted for a few years.

Cons: * After a few years of running this fan began to make large grinding sounds that got worse with time. It was so loud and distracting I unplugged the fan.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome Fan

Pros: Slim design, good airflow, and low noise. This fan can move alot of air at full speed with RPM's as high as 6000. I usually only run mine at 40 or 50%, and at this rate it is nearly silent, or at least as quite as my Antec TriCool 120mm fans on their low setting. I have used this to cool the VRM on several graphics cards of the years. I have an Arctic Accelero Hybrid Watercooler and while it does have fan on one end of the graphics card for the main VRM area there is no fan for smaller VRM area next to the IO ports on the card. This fan is small enough that I can squeeze it between the mounting bracket and the card and use a singe zip tie through one of the fans screw holes to postion over the VRM. The VRM never goes over 46 degree celcius with this thing pointing at it.

Cons: While this fan does have low noise per airflow, a fan this small spinning as fast it does will produce a high pitched sound but it isn't as high pitched or as loud as you are probably expecting.

3 out of 5 eggsNoisy

Pros: Small 50mmx50mmx10mm it fits in the case.

Cons: Noisy. At eye/ear height it makes too much noise to be bearable.
I have a case with two (2) 80mm fans that makes less noise. I did take it out in less than a day.

Other Thoughts: If anyone out there knows of a quiet fan of this size, then let me know. IF it moves less air OK, I just want to have some air flow over a passively cooled APU.
If you can handle the noise, then it could well work for you.

5 out of 5 eggsWorked successfully.

Pros: Inexpensive replacement

Cons: None that have presented themselves

Other Thoughts: The fan was used to replace a failed fan in a DVR unit. The fan plugged in and worked successfully. Just what was required.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks Great With P67

Pros: Got this for my P67 from Asus, quick installation and it was recognized by the software immediately.

Cons: None so far.

Other Thoughts: Haven't noticed any sound from it, my current case has a few large fans of its own that probably drown this fan out.

3 out of 5 eggsGood vibrations

Pros: Fan is somewhat quiet at low, nice looking but comes with 3 pin to molex plug, pushes a decent amount of air at full throttle. Good for a small HTPC build case.

Cons: noisy at full speed and gives a good vibration to boot. The unit I received vibrates when on high could be of the cheap sleeve bearing.

Other Thoughts: This unit is rather cheap don't expect much from it. It will blow a good amount of air for such a small fan but not great if you need to cool a large enclosure.

5 out of 5 eggsA Nice Assistant

Pros: Helped me achieve my goal of bringing my system temperature to the levels I want. CPU sits at the lower end of the 20's. MB temp is 30C. And everything else is below 40C with the exception of the USB3.0 rear controller. Until I added this fan and a side case fan for my Sabertooth P67 board the temperature usually stayed in the 50's up to 67C at it's highest when in use. Now it stays in the low to mid 40's. I think I can live with that.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: It is silent at 2600RPM. Fastest fan I have. My CPU fan runs at 760RPM while my three chassis fans run at 700RPM. Installing the fan was easy. The connector is under the plastic plate cover on the thermal armor. For anyone that bought this fan for the ASUS Sabertooth P67, if you removed the thermal armor and then added this fan, you just wasted five bucks. The assistant fan slot is designed to move air around the motherboard underneath the plate. Without the plate it just blows air on a small portion of the motherboard and isn't dispersed as is intended.
