3 out of 5 eggs

Pros: This thing moves alot of air. Plain and simple. Simple 4 pin connector, easy to install.

Cons: Technically as advertised it does take up 1 PCI slot, however it does have hangover onto the next PCI from the fan. The exhaust itself is 1 PCI slot. You can't really put 2 next to each other, but if you had some room between your last PCI slot and your PSU, then you could put it there to only take up 1. Thats 1 star for taking up more space than specified.

Next is the sound. I realized this would be a problem when i bought it, anything that moves this much air especially with such a high static pressure is going to make quite a bit of noise. I wanted some extra cooling, but good Lord, at what cost. Even after turning down all my other fans, it sounds like I have added an entire Xbox 360 to my system. I do think the manufacturer could've helped this in two ways. 1. There is a little metal clip most PCI slots have that secure the base of it to the metal of the case. This is absent in this, so the only thing actually holding it down is the screws at the top. Installing it at the base initially is very awkward. 2. The plastic casing of the fan definitely doesn't help. Maybe if they were joined together, or the inner parts were metal, but the vibrations are just too much for me. So 1 star for noise...

Other Thoughts: I did something very dumb and ordered 2 of these before I read the reviews thinking they took up 1 PCI slot, so 1 has gone upopened. Now I installed 1 and I think I'm just going to remove it. If they weren't so cheap, I'd be much more upset.... Maybe I could sell em online.

5 out of 5 eggsMy video card finally runs without throttling due to high temps.

Pros: Works extremely well, the fan is a beast and removes a ton of air. Works great right below my video card, taking the air straight from the card and blowing it right out of the back of the case. Prevents the video card from overheating. No more throttling during gaming (read "other thoughts"! I've had it for a few months now. Still running strong and doing its job so far.

Cons: None to speak of. It's loud, sure, but that's to be expected with a fan this small that pushes as much air as it does.

Other Thoughts: Before I got this exhaust fan, my video card would throttle its own clock speed down to avoid overheating. Games would start to stutter after a few minutes of intensive gameplay as a result. The heat from the video card would affect the CPU, too, and my machine would occasionally shut down in order to avoid damage. A new CPU cooler fixed the CPU issue, but the video card still ran too hot - it's an ASUS DCii series - they get HOT! Anyways - with this fan installed underneath the video card, it directly takes and exhausts all the hot air the card would normally spew out into the case. Makes a huge difference. It's a bit loud, but worth every decibel. This thing was a gamble (an admittedly cheap one) for me since I've never heard of the brand before, and it was a last ditch effort to solve my temperature issue without having to get a new videocard. Turned out to be a great purchase.

2 out of 5 eggsLoud

Pros: Moves a lot of air

Cons: Very loud, rattling sound

Description is misleading. Claims to take 1 PCI slot when it actually takes 2.

Other Thoughts: Other PCI fans will plug into the actual motherboard to provide additional stability. This one just uses the bracket and 1 single screw. So it rattles.

3 out of 5 eggsLoud !..But it work's

Pros: - Moves lots of air
- Good design

Cons: - Loud, really loud
- Takes up 2 slots

Other Thoughts: Did not change my temps at all but I feel that if I had no proper cooling in my case it would actually do. So if you have an old case with not so good airflow, you should get this, if you have descent airflow, don't waste your money.

5 out of 5 eggsSolved My Heat Issue

Pros: Moves a ton of air, you can feel it. Put this bad boy in my dad's comp that had over heating issues to the point where his comp would shut down frequently. He has an awful acrylic case that stinks at moving air, so I placed this thing where it needed exhaust the most, under the gpu. No more shutdowns.

Certainly didn't expect it to solve the problem, the PSU fan is shot on the system as well and I figured this would knock down at most 5 degrees of ambient temp and I'd get that fixed too, nope....issue was completely solved with this guy.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Girlfriend made fun of me when I unboxed this thing. Right on the packing are the word's GUIDED MISSILE! with a huge target decal on the fan. Very over the top.
