4 out of 5 eggsIts A fan

Pros: The Fan works, fairly quiet.

Cons: Does not fit XFX 7600 GT. Wholes on heat sink do not match fan. Pulled the back off the old fan and super glued it to the new one. Works fine that way.

Other Thoughts: wish they gave more detailed dimensions of the product. Such as whole placement.

2 out of 5 eggscheap and cheerful

Pros: It's cheap

Cons: After a couple of weeks started making some
excruciating noises when first powered on.
After 2 or 3 minutes, it quietens down.

Other Thoughts: Like others, I had to super glue it into my
8600GT. It appears to be glued in tight,
but in addition to the issue mentioned above,
it seems slightly out of balance; and you can feel the
vibration on the PC case.

However, in spite of this it's still working.

4 out of 5 eggsIt works.

Pros: It works.

It fit.

Cons: I could've bought a slightly larger one I think? (didn't measure well)

Other Thoughts: My old one was dying and making a terrible noise. Almost two years later this one is still going.

2 out of 5 eggsFlimsy

Pros: Does the job for cheap, GPU operates at acceptable temperatures

Cons: Strangely oriented mounting brackets, flimsy construction

Other Thoughts: Had to drill holes myself in the Gigabyte Nvidia 6600GT heatsink to fit the fan. The mounting arms of the fan looked fine (about 2mm thick), but at the most crucial part close to the base of the fan, they are <1mm thick for some strange reason. The fan is now attached to the heatsink by 2/3 of the original mounting arms since one broke during the attempted fix. It's a decent fan, but install it with EXTREME caution.

5 out of 5 eggsFit perfectly, works fine

Pros: Not too noisy. A relatively cheap fix for an annoyingly noisy older failing old fan. Still spinning 6 months later running 24/7.

Cons: Couldn't find a clear one to match the original.

Other Thoughts: Be sure to research your exact fan carefully. There are lots of minor differences in size and specification. This fan was an almost exact replacement of the stock fan on an AOpen Geforce 6600 card. The previous fan starting making a ton of noise after a year or two. Hopefully this one lasts longer. I can't speak to it's performance, but it isn't too terribly noisy and the video card is staying within spec temperature wise, so I can't complain.

3 out of 5 eggsDoesn't fit - no drawings

Pros: I had the identical experience to Rhesus Pieces. I am sure it is probably a great fan.

Cons: But the fan did not fit my fancy GPU heat sink so I couldn't use it. Unfortunately there are no drawings available, I had to buy it out of blind desperation and got burnt. The dimensions really have to be exact.

Other Thoughts: I sort of fixed the problem with an 80mm ball bearing muffin fan. It wedged in pretty well between the video card and another card. It is pretty quiet and came with an adapter to a regular power supply plug, so it just runs all the time. That cut the temperature from 83C (no fan) to 67C, as compared to about 51C with the case open and a big noisy 120V fan blowing on it temporarily. The muffin fan has a MTBF of 70,000 hrs versus only 10,000 for a typical tiny GPU fan, so it should last as long as the rest of my computer.

4 out of 5 eggsFan quiet, doesn't fit.

Pros: The fan is quiet, <22dBA.

Cons: The attachment points are not 60 degrees apart. The holes require a screws with low profile heads. There are not recessed holes.

Other Thoughts: I could not find any engineering drawings of the fan. It doesn't fit my video heatsink to shipping is too expensive to return it. It just didn't fit, not the fan's fault. Otherwise, the fan is very nice.
