Pros: Get's the job done. Better than the stock fan.

Cons: Plastic locking tabs are a little tricky. No behind board mounting bracket either.

Other Thoughts: It's better to mount this heatsink with the board out of the case to make sure you have the tabs in right. They are kind of hard to see when you're looking straight at the fan. Not that loud either, but I did just come from a Socket A Thermaltake Tornado (as loud as the name implies =) ).

Pros: Paper weight.

Cons: Cheap!!!

Pros: price, easy to install quieter and cooler than the massive dell cooler it replaced. 95 watt 3.04ghz pentium dual core.

Pros: I bought this CPU cooler to help maintain and extend the life of my four year backup old computer. For the low cost, was pleasantly surprised by the good quality of the item. It is compact and comparable to the original factory equipped cooler that came with my computer.

Cons: No cons, however, the user who decides to purchase this item needs to be aware it is not a drop-fit replacement for the original item.

Other Thoughts: To install this cooler, the user will likely need to remove the motherboard from the case. The fasteners that are supplied with this cooler will not be secured to the mobo in the same fashion as the original equipment, which is held in place with screws. Instead, the fasteners are a type of nylon press-fit items. My mobo had to be prepared by first removing the steel X bracket on the bottom of board to receive the new mounts. Not a difficult job, just be aware. The three pin fan will run at a constant speed, not variable speed. It is quiet. My CPU is currently running between 30C at idle to 45C under heavy load using this cooler. It came with thermal paste (unknown variety), but I used Arctic Silver to be sure of a good, proven thermal compound.

Pros: It is affordable, quiet, and moderate to install.

Cons: i had to remove the motherboard to remove a bracket underneath the motherboard to be able to install the part.

Other Thoughts: World definatly reccomend. I keeps my prescott 945 pentium D at 45C idle, and around 70C under full load, not to mention that i can hear my breathing over it.

Pros: Used it on my old Q8400 setup. They are a fairly toasty running proc and this worked just fine. It's lasted this long and that was a sweaty case! A perfect value cooler for stock speeds, and blows the stock cooler out of the water.

Cons: The hold-down clips were a bit finicky, about as bad as the stock cooler.

Other Thoughts: Always install coolers with the board out of the case so you can visually confirm that the barbs on the clips have made properly.

Pros: Better design then the OEM heatsink/fan from HP. Easy to install.

Cons: Only a 3 pin design, requires after market controller to adjust the speed of the CPU fan.

Other Thoughts: Good thing I had a spare fan controller lying around to put in this case. I was buying it to get an old dual core computer running I had lying around for months to turn it into an HTPC and it works great, got the computer up and running and idling around 36-40c. Much better then the old cpu design.

Pros: Insanely easy install on a LGA775 socket.
Can barely hear the fan.
Didn't buy it for super cooling, but I imagine it does a decent job. Better than stock anyways.
For $10, can't go wrong.
Loved that it didn't come preapplied with thermal paste. It came with it's own tube, but I used Arctic Silver 5 instead.

Cons: Fan isn't adjustable. Doesn't really matter though as it's super quiet.
Odd design. Most heat sinks now don't face towards the side of the case but out the back or top.
