4 out of 5 eggsOooh, shiny

Pros: *It's shiny
*Very fast shipping, IIRC it took 2 business days to arrive
*Moves air
*Fairly quiet
*Decent price

Cons: *Picks up fingerprints easily
*Notoriously difficult to screw into place; I eventually gave up and left the screws only half-inserted
*LED's are weak and tacky-looking; the multiple colors throw ugly shadows everywhere and clash with each other

Other Thoughts: I bought this to replace a dead fan in my ancient Pentium 4 Northwood PC. It's too old to have any sort of thermal monitoring, so I can't verify any temps or RPM levels. Overall, I'm happy enough with this fan's performance, although there's no reason it should be so hard to screw in.

2 out of 5 eggsdon't be fooled

Pros: the fan spins

Cons: Well I got this for my htpc that sits in my bedroom since the old fan was just too loud after three years of operation.

This fan is not only louder than the dusty three year-old non-brand fan that came with my case but it's also got the brightest, ugliest lights coming out of the back.

Other Thoughts: I bought this to make my htpc quiet again. even if the fan worked, the crazy LED lights would defeat the purpose.

The LED thing was my fault since I forgot that for some reason pc parts manufacturers and tacky computer nerds think everything is better with some LED on it and didn't read the description thoroughly so my rating is only based on the sheer amount of noise this thing puts out right out of the box.

4 out of 5 eggsNot blue, but works great

Pros: Works, not very loud, moves air decently.

Cons: Aluminum is kind of a pain to get mounting screws started in, NOT BLUE (multi-colored)

Other Thoughts: Obviously I was sent the wrong one, and I'm not so retentive about the color scheme in my case to cry about it and RMA it (not worth return shipping and wasted time, either), as it does work and that's what I mainly wanted. Kind of stinks that they send out the wrong fans, but w/e.

5 out of 5 eggsto Nick

Pros: At 12 dba, you will not hear these fans. If something is loud, it has to be a different fan in your case. Could be other case fans, the CPU fan, the PSU fan, etc. I won't be these though, unless they are defective. In that case, either return it or buy another.

Cons: ..

2 out of 5 eggsNot Quiet

Pros: Quality construction.

Cons: Loud, for HTPC. Bought it because it was the lowest DB 90mm fan, put two in HTPC and it is unaccebtably loud.

Other Thoughts: Will have to buy speed resistor seperately just to be able to use them for their designated purpose.
