1 out of 5 eggsWorked great... for 2 months

Pros: Cheap

Cons: I ordered this new years day, received it on 1/9/16, here it is 3/4/16 and the fan bearing is screaming.
Long life bearing is a joke.. would rate lower than 1 star but thats not an option.

Other Thoughts: Not worth the $15 i spent. Now i have a non-functional htpc until a new heatsink/fan arrives or i go to the nearest overpriced superstore and buy one.

1 out of 5 eggsDoesn't cool properly

Pros: None

Cons: I installed this cooler hoping it would do the job. Couldn't get past the start up screen since it said my CPU was over heating. I saw that my CPU was heating up to 70 degrees C and shut it off afraid I would ruin my new i7 processor. I ended up purchasing the Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO - CPU Cooler with 120 mm PWM Fan Cooler. Immediately it dropped the temperature to 30 degrees.

2 out of 5 eggsMeh...spend the extra for better cooling, or keep stock

Pros: The price. Can't say how it compares to the stock CPU cooler, as I installed this with my i7 920 (not overclocked) when I first got the CPU itself.

Cons: Unimpressive performance under load. Granted, I am in a hot room/climate (90-95 F ambient temp), but it's pretty excessive.

Idle/moderate demands, the CPU is as little as 98, typically 115-125. However, under load, it flies up to 177-184; this is while encoding video (I'm not a gamer). This is in a highly ventilated CoolerMaster HAF 932 case.

I'm using properly applied Arctic Silver 5 thermal paste.

4 out of 5 eggsCI01-9525EP is good for Intel Core i7 920-950

Pros: The CI01-9525EP is good for Intel Core i7 920-950

I am running the machine none stop all day.

It seems to be nothing happen which the bios show the temp. around 43-57 C degree back

and forth.

It`s budget buying and very easy to install.

Just make sure that your computer is in a cool area with proper ventilation.

Finally the thermo compound is evenly spread out & all

the push pins are push down very important. .

Cons: No Copper Core

1 out of 5 eggsDo NOT buy this.

Pros: It's cheap.

Cons: Tried this when stock Intel i7 920 fan was damaged during shipping. Core temps, with the thermal paste provided with this fan, well going well over 60C idle and up to a very dangerous 100C when under load.

Got my stock heatsink fixed by a friend, and put it back in, with different paste. Core temps are now running 41-44C when idle and in the mid 60'sC when under load.

I think it was a combination of bad paste and an underperforming fan/heatsink combo.
