1 out of 5 eggsLook eslewhere for a CPU cooler

Pros: Descent heatsink.

Cons: Noisy fan.

Other Thoughts: The fan makes a whistling noise when running at 1900rpm and above. I tried lowering to 1400rpm but then it goes from making a whistling noise to faint clattering noise similar to what the previous reviewer described. If you are looking for a cooler with similar specs, go with the Rosewill series instead.

1 out of 5 eggsWhat a dissapointment

Pros: PWM, Keeps things cool, looks good.

Cons: Fan noise

Other Thoughts: Got this to replace a failing 95mm circular fan with PWM. Heatsink was nearly identical to the one installed on my athlon II X4, and had worked very well until the fan started to fail. I'm sure this unit would work well to cool things down as well. I only used the fan, as 95mm circular fans with PWM are hard to find. It sounded like a kid with playing cards flapping against the spokes of his bicycle was riding around inside my machine. Maybe I just got a bad unit, but evercool really does not have my faith after this annoyance.
