5 out of 5 eggsnice quite fan

Pros: works fine.. only 3 pin connection...

I keep it in my case just standing in there cause its quieter than my 80mm fans I have from an aluminum case I purchased over 10 years ago and keep upgrading my parts in it.

Cons: no cons

Other Thoughts: when I went to put it in an older psu that I purchased locally in comp usa which then changed to target direct less than 3 years ago, still had warranty, but they wouldn't honor it in Miami is the 2nd target direct known to me, cause the receipt and box I saved...

the receipt from the store was blank, I guess cause it was in my patio, and it get hot in florida turned blank, and there was no record for this purchase on my order listing.

that is why when I purchase anything I would need I copy the receipt on my phone and keep a copy of the picture and move it to a folder for save keeping or just scan and print out a copy and keep it in my house, for warranty purposes.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Replacement for a Noisy PSU Fan

Pros: - Form factor including screw hole alignments are correct for 135mm PSU fan replacement

- Quiet

- Comes with plastic deflection shield mounted (typically used with PSU)

- Inexpensive

- Runs well in variable voltage application

Cons: - Sleeve bearing is typically shorter life

- Sleeve bearings are best run with axis in the vertical

- Connector it comes with is three wire (versus two wire that the OEM employs)

Other Thoughts: If the hard to find two wire 135mm ball bearing fan in your recently purchased PC power supply becomes problematic (eg, begins making clicking noises), then you will be able to replace it with this fan. Except for the connector, it's pretty much a direct swap. Just re-use the connector from the OEM fan.

5 out of 5 eggsIt's a fan

Pros: It spins. Doesn't make a whole lot of noise.

Cons: Unknown, yet to be seen.

Other Thoughts: I bought this to replace a failed fan on a Rosewill power supply. The plug is a 3 pin unlike my PSU's 2 pin, but since there aren't any other 135mm options available, I ordered it anyways. I did reuse the plug from the failed fan and simply jammed the wires in the holes with a piece of tubing cannibalized from the old fan's wires with some superglue for good measure. Works so far, hope it lasts.

5 out of 5 eggsNice replacement

Pros: Proper fit and function. Quiet, I did not notice any change in my system noise. I have a pretty quiet HTPC system.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Anyone who has built their own PC knows that sometimes you have to make things work, especially cooling. I had to splice in the fan connector, that wasn't a problem for me. I happen to be an electrician. I would recommend this fan for any 135mm replacement.

4 out of 5 eggsgreat fan but installation experience may vary

Pros: quiet and works as advertised.

135mm fans aren't the easiest to find and as you can see on newegg, the selection is very limited. glad to know this works well at a good price.

Cons: installation was not a breeze for me because of the mismatch between the 3 pin adapter on the fan and the 2 pin adapter in my power supply. but mileage may vary depending on your hardware.

i went in knowing that the 3 pin adapter on this fan would not fit, so i can't fault the product for this. but i'll deduct a star so this particular aspect of the fan gets some visibility and so people can check and think through the installation before purchasing.

Other Thoughts: this is a 2 wire fan but is attached to a 3 pin female adapter, which can be a huge problem depending on how you are using the fan.

if a case fan, you probably will have no issue finding the 3 pin male connection on your motherboard.

if used as a power supply fan, you could end up having a 2 pin adapter in your power supply, which means you need to splice the wire or cut the 3 pin adapter to fit. either way, it's going to be a hassle but what other choice would you have besides buying a new power supply?

good luck.

5 out of 5 eggsWOWOWOW!

Pros: - Moves a ton of air through the psu.
- Quiet. Maybe the quietest fan in my system. Noctua fans can take a back seat.
- All black.
- No silly sticker.
- Didn't have to splice.
- I can't believe it's not butter... this thing runs so dang smooth :)

Cons: - none I can think of. It does what I bought it to do superbly.

Other Thoughts: BUY THIS FAN!

If you need a new fan for your power supply, I suggest buying this fan. It is inexpensive, fast, and silent.

I have an EVGA 650G psu. the one with the handle. The fan on it screams. Needless to say, i was upset. I looked around everywhere for a new fan.

At the time, this fan had 0 reviews, and I was hesitant to buy it. But since it was so cheap and simple, with good specs and the size I needed (135mm), I went ahead and took a chance. So glad I did. Could not be happier.

Also, please, for the love of Zeus, take care if you plan to open your power supply. Wouldn't want anyone to find you slumped over a table.

5 out of 5 eggsWOW!

Pros: Fits like a glove! Has air baffle mounted.

Cons: Air direction and fan rotation direction arrows not there.

Other Thoughts: Had an OCZ 550w modular psu and the fan bearings locked up; ordered this fan on a Sunday and got it Thursday using Eggsaver mail. Fan mounting holes all lined up no problems and just had to cut the plug off and put the plug from the other fan on covered w/ some heat shrink tubing; reassembled and installed and it works great! Super quiet and moves more air!
