4 out of 5 eggsBig Effective Cooler

Pros: -Solid Cooling and Allows for Modest Overclocking
-Great Quiet Fans
-Fairly Simple Install
-Mounting Bracket Handles Weight Nicely
-Low Price

Cons: -Large and Heavy
-Would most likely interfere with tall memory modules
-I thought cooling would be a little bit better
-Only one fan is PWM
-Poorly translated instuctions

Other Thoughts: I bought this cooler because of the great price and I thought I'd replace my ThermalTake Frio. Overall I am very happy with my purchase. The cooling is slightly better than my Frio by a few degrees. I ran prime95 the same day with the same ambient temperature and thermal paste to eliminate variables. The install on my EVGA P55 F.T.W. board went very smoothly. There was no interference with my memory or other heatsinks. Take note though that the cooler is supposed to be installed with the angled tower to the front of the case. The towers aren't parallel which is unique for sure. Overall though I am again very happy with my purchase and would recommend it to anyone that has a case and memory to accommodate it.

Rig: Rosewill Thor, EVGA P55 F.T.W. mobo, Intel i7 860

1 out of 5 eggsDon't Buy...

Pros: Really the only good thing about this was the fans. Both fans are good quality. The front fan moves a lot of air in a widespread fashion and the back fan is quite and moves a lot of air as well. I will probably use them in other ways.

I also loved the idea of being able to angle the front fan.

Cons: There are several problems with this CPU cooler.

The first one isn't really Evercool's issue, but this CPU cooler is huge. I was a little off in my measurements on the side and it wouldn't fit in my newer case. I knew it would be tight, but it just wouldn't fit, so I had to put my system in my old case. Not a show stopper...

However, the main problem with this cooler is the mounts for my AMD motherboard. There are two screws welded into the mounting brackets. Then there are two springs and two elongated nuts on the heatsink that screw over the bolts. The problems started as soon as I got it. It appeared out of the box the nut was slipping and I thought it was something I was doing wrong and maybe I was off in lining them up and missing it. However, I finally got it to stay for about a couple of weeks and then it popped off. So, I put it back on and I did this a couple times over about a month. However, this week it wouldn't stay at all. I removed everything and looked at everything. The nuts work with different screws, but they slip on bolts on the adapter. Also, the bolts can hold different nuts. It just seems like the were made with the wrong paired sizes and not stripped.

Then I tried emailing support with no luck. It is out of China/Taiwan and can't get a hold of anyone. At this point I thinking about modding it to make it work myself. I might give it a little more time...
