5 out of 5 eggsDoes its job

Pros: Very easy install. Reversable ports for tubes.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Works great. OCed Evga 8800GTX to 720 Core and 1100 Memory at 50C Stable using ATITOOL. Might just be a good card as I can see others not that high.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome cooler

Pros: The craftsmanship on this is amazing. Koolance gold plates the copper on their waterblocks to prevent corrosion (espicially in systems with copper/aluminum mix). I am using two of these in my SLI rig and I love them!

Cons: You need to use Koolance's nozzles on this cooler. I say this because Koolance builds these to such a low profile that you need their short thread nozzles to maximize coolant flow. Other brand nozzles have a taller threaded areas which screws deeper into the block and can cause restriction.

Other Thoughts: Yes it's heavy, but a 8800 GTX/Ultra ain't no tiny video card and there ain't no plastic on this cooler ;)

4 out of 5 eggsMediocre quality

Pros: Cools component enough... Solid Copper, Heavy Duty! Neat Gold and chrome look :)

Cons: Poor craftsmanship... currently not the best precision... (someone over there at the manufacturing plant is slacking!!!) urrrgh!!

I ordered 3 somewhere else, and all 3 of them had different bore depths...

Other Thoughts: I ordered two in the past but those worked fine... I would try another brand for now... Koolance is "Slackance"!

3 out of 5 eggsworks well but didn't last

Pros: It works every cooling my GTX, stays at 50-55 degree during hours of game play (use NTune monitoring). I like the slick shiney design, and freed up a lot room in my case resulting better air circulation.

Cons: However, I just noticed today it started to leak. The blue stuff from the coolants start to formulate between the seal line. Not a good sign when you have to pay high price for it. Only about 6 months of usage and the system runs about 4-7 hours a day.

Other Thoughts: It would have been a 4.5 stars if the product is durable. Now, I have spend time to take it out and get an RMA (too much work).

5 out of 5 eggsGREAT!!

Pros: Amazing cooler. A bit pricy but keeps my 8800Ultra about 70% cooler then stock fan.

Cons: A bit pricy.

Other Thoughts: DONT listen to moron that dremeled this thing as he DID NOT use the included padding strips. These strips are mandatory and when applied the block fits perfecly

4 out of 5 eggsNo Nozzles??? Come on

Pros: Looks good

Cons: Need to pay for nozzles seperately. Should be included at this price.

Other Thoughts: Koolance has terrible customer service as I realized recently when ordering parts for my Exos.

5 out of 5 eggsI love it

Pros: I've had this unit for a while, but ordered it directly from Koolance since Newegg didn't stock it at that time. Very simple to install and haven't experienced any leaks. I'm wondering if the person that had a problem didn't use the included padding strips? I've got it on my XFX 8800 Ultra which is clocked at 650/1150 . I also have a Koolance CPU cooler in the same line, all being cooled with the Koolance Exos 2 unit. Under load, my card is about 115 F. Using 10mm lines throughout my whole system. This unit is also thin enough to make your video card only take up one slot instead of two. Saves a lot of space vs stock air cooling.

Cons: I can't think of any cons with this unit. It does have a bit more weight to it than the stock air cooling unit, but that's expected from a solid built cooler like this.

Other Thoughts: I've been very happy with Koolance's line of products and have been a fan of them. The way their cooling blocks have the spikes inside of them to increase the surface area is a great way to maximize cooling.

5 out of 5 eggsThe best GPU block around

Pros: Very nice GPU block. VERY heavy duty. Nice overall design and looks. Performs great. Easy to install. I had ease installing two of them :)

Cons: ZERO.

Other Thoughts: Not sure why others had problems... perhaps they just don't think posi+ive enough! :)

Anyway, for those who think they have a high understanding of this product;
This block was specifically designed to have Spacing between the TMDS output logic chip, RAM chips, and voltage regulators for the purpose of preventing an external field effect.
Just use the thick thermal conductive pads that are included with the VID-282 instead of grease or paste.
There is Absolutely NO need to file down or Dremel any part of this block.
It did NOT warp either of my cards, they stayed straight as an arrow.
It WILL work fine if you know what to do.

1 out of 5 eggsTerrible Cooler

Pros: Looks really nice, versatile fitting connection options.

Cons: Very heavy and doesn't fully contact GPU, RAM, etc. I didn't test this out in my system since I couldn't trust the design. I suspect that if I had, my computer would've shut down in 10 seconds and my card may have fried due to the heat.

Other Thoughts: I didn't get this card from Newegg since they didn't have it in stock at the time. I thought it was the design of my card that was at fault, but I see now that others are experiencing the same problems that I had. It appears that the standoffs are approx 1 mm too long. If you try to cut them down with a dremel, the standoffs will be uneven and problematic (believe me, I tried). I can't for the life of me believe that Koolance released this product doesn't work as designed! I ended up tossing mine in the trash (after an unsuccessful mod). Stay away from Koolance. Don't make the sames mistake I made (by buying Koolance products) and custom-build your system with parts from other, more reputable companies (like Swiftech, D-tech, Aqua Computer, EK Waterblocks, Thermochill, etc.)'ll probably be cheaper with greater performance to boot.
