Pros: Agree with Mr_D on all accounts. I wish I hadn't taken a chance on this fan. Move a lot of air, but is too noisy for my application (HTPC). It is definitely louder than its spec.

Not quite a 60mm fan.

Pros: Inexpensive
Not very loud (compared to the fan it replaced)

Cons: Not really 60mm. Fan is about 55 or 56mm.

Other Thoughts: I bought this as a replacement for a CPU heatsink fan that died. It was clearly smaller than the original fan. When I measured the blade diameter I got around 56mm. Since I needed the PC badly I went ahead and mounted it to the heatsink. CPU temps are running 37 Celsius. It seems to be working at a satisfactory level but I am going to look into something better before summer gets here.

Some have complained about the noise level of this fan. I haven't noticed a significant difference in volume level between this fan and the old fan. The pitch is different though.

Also note, since it doesn't plug into the motherboard you will not get an RPM reading in the BIOS.
