4 out of 5 eggsWorks!

Pros: Bought 2 in June of 08 for my old build. They have worked perfectly for 4 years.

Cons: My only complaint is that they are noisy, but not any more or less than any 80mm fan.

Other Thoughts: If you want a reliable 80mm fan that appears well made and don't care about sound control then these are a good choice. Finding a quiet one is a lot harder and will cost more.

2 out of 5 eggsa no show

Pros: n/a

Cons: case fan never arrived to my address, which is quite dissappointing, wondering if the deliverer send it to the wrong address or its been stolen.

Other Thoughts: even though its a no show, i bought a case fan similar to this one a month ago and its great so thats why it has two stars. 6 out 7 orders in newegg this is the only dissapointment, while the rest are good. i suggest look into another link of this kind of fan. this one i think has an unorganised and unreliable shipping

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Fan

Pros: Installed with no problems. It's very quiet and dropped a solid 6 degrees C from my previous fan. NO OBNOXIOUS LEDs.

Cons: None. Great performance for the price!

Other Thoughts: Shipped well within the expected delivery as usual. Thanks Newegg! :D

2 out of 5 eggsEnough is enough

Pros: Reasonable price.

Cons: Way too noisy. After six months, I had had enough and ordered the Cooler Master SAF-B83-E1. By comparison, the Cooler Master is almost silent.

5 out of 5 eggsGoldilocks would buy this 80mm case fan

Pros: Some fans are too noisy and some fans don't move much CFM. After comparing, my opinion is this Antec 2 ball case fan is the 80mm case fan of choice among single speed case fans. It's a 2 ball, and the clear plastic is stronger than some fans while pleasing to the eye. The install is easy and all the parts are there.

Cons: It is easier to install if you thread the screws first to work the thread groove into the plastic before you install the fan inside the case. Cable ties are necessary to keep long power cords out of fan blades. Thank you to reviewer who told me that "front" of the fan is the way the air flows. Then you only have to install it once.

Other Thoughts: If it is not too loud but not so low wimpy that it fails to cool, then it wins my Goldilocks award for being "just right". What else is there to say about an 80mm case fan? I read for a week then bought 2 other models to compare but will stick to this one in the future when I need another 80mm case fan.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat fans!

Pros: - Double ball bearings keep my system quiet.
- The high CFM is welcome.
- Since they are from Antec, you can expect the highest quality.

Cons: - None

Other Thoughts: I had been using the fans that came with my case for over 3 years and until just recently, had not given second thought to the quality of my cooling. Finally, I decided to give my computer a good cleaning and to my surprise, a few of the fans were seized up while the others spun at very low RPMs. Once I installed these fans, my component temperatures dropped between 3 and 17 degrees Celsius.

3 out of 5 eggsMoves sufficient air

Pros: Moves enough air to bring temperatures back within acceptable range after failure of original fan.

Cons: Noise is in the ear of the beholder and while this fan does not rattle my windows, it is significantly noiser than the fan that came with my CoolerMaster Stacker case. Could not find any air direction indicators. Found by trial and error that output is on the side with the company logo.

Other Thoughts: I gave this product three eggs which I consider average. Stronger air movement and/or less noise would have rated more eggs. Longevity might also rate an additional egg, but I cannot judge that from this point.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat performer

Pros: Ball bearing fans seem to last forever, make sure you get these and not the sleeve ones a few bucks cheaper. Not loud either. Good build quality, and I've bought about 20, not one failure yet

Cons: None
