3 out of 5 eggsThe recent molex adapters don't work

Pros: They're cheap and they move a lot of air.

Cons: I ordered 4 of these fans, and they each came with a 4 pin molex to 3 pin adapter, but all 4 the adapters didn't work. I can plug in the 3 pin wire from the fan to my motherboard and the fans turn right on, but if I plug it into the adapter that comes with the fan, nothing. Luckily my motherboard has 3 fan connectors and I had an old computer I could cannibalize for the last adapter, but if you aren't so fortunate, you will want to either go with another fan, or get yourself an adapter.

Also one of the 4 makes a bit of a high pitched whine.

3 out of 5 eggsmolex adapter seems to have changed

Pros: Works well. Includes molex adapters.

Cons: They seemed to have changed molex adapters. I have two sets of these from two orders. The first set works great. The second set the fans work with the old adapters, but not the new. The adapters are visibly different from the first order to the second.

Other Thoughts: RMA to the rescue. Here's hoping the next set works.

5 out of 5 eggsbgeara b-blaster 120

Pros: They move a lot of air; I put 4 of theses in my case and it's like a tornado in there. I got these on sale for $5.89 each with a promo code and they were delivered in 3 days with free shipping. Newegg is awesome.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: At full speed these are fighter jet loud, but that's expected for a fan that moves over 100 CFM of air. If you use a fan controller you can get the noise down to a comfortable level and still move a lot of air with these.

4 out of 5 eggsLoud

Pros: -103 CFM is quite a bit of airflow
-3-pin connector comes with a molex adapter, which comes in handy
-Can be used as a nice little desk fan
-I imagine if I put 4-5 of these below my case I could probably make it float.
-Very fast shipping as always. Thanks Newegg!

Cons: -Very loud (about as loud as my desk fan on low)
-Nothing fancy to look at (well, it IS just a fan)
-requires a fan controller to bring to full potential

Other Thoughts: I didn't subtract eggs for its loudness, simply because I was dumb enough to assume that 35 decibels wasn't that loud. When hooked up to a basic fan controller it's a good little fan, and can come in handy when things get hot, or back off and keep quiet when you don't need the extra airflow. Personally, my case has 4 other fans (one being a 180mm intake) so this one running at full blast doesn't make a huge difference unless I am running at full load.

I will soon be switching to all Noctuas, after hearing what the other side of the spectrum can be like.

5 out of 5 eggsQuiet for such high CFM

Pros: This was a pleasant surprise.

I have two of these fans in my case along with 3 other ~50CFM fans. These two are by far the loudest, but they do push a lot of air. These would be great for a radiator as they produce quite a bit of pressure while still being quieter than your average household osscilating fan.

Cons: None so far.

Other Thoughts: If you want these to be quiet hook them up to a fan controller. When going full boar these aren't exactly loud but not quiet either. I can easily sleep ~5 feet from my tower which is at the same level as my head while laying down, but I'm a heavy sleeper.

5 out of 5 eggsAll around great fan

Pros: The 103 CFM rating is not an exaggeration. These fans REALLY move some serious air. I run a custom liquid loop utilizing 2 60mm thick radiators. (360mm and 240mm). I bought 14 of these fans to replace my older 700 rpm silence fans. (4 for case intake, 10 for dedicated radiator fans in push/pull configuration).

Temperatures across the entire system dropped a total of 6C, and that is with running these at less than max RPM using a fan controller.

Ordered 14 fans, all arrived next day (thanks newegg!), and all 14 fans worked flawlessly out of the box with no broken parts, and as far as I can tell so far, no noises.

Cons: Many people list their loudness as a con, but come on, really? what did you expect? 103 cfm @ 2000 rpm is going to be loud, plain and simple. In my opinion, no cons. I got what I paid for and then some.

Other Thoughts: I am using a high wattage 4 channel fan controller. 60 watts to a channel. These fans @ 2000 rpm use just under 4 watts when running at full RPM. I highly recommend a fan controller of some sort to keep these from blowing your eardrums out. Keep in mind the wattage limit per channel of your controller. Fans like these WILL overpower and/or burn out you controller if they're lower quality or just lower voltage.

Lastly, these are bar none, the BEST fans for heatsinks/radiators that you're gonna get your hands on for sub $15. Of course a good Delta fan will bury these, but they start at $30. You want an amazing fan for case cooling, but also provides amazing air pressure for even the thickest/ most dense radiators? These are it.
