5 out of 5 eggsLoud Fan but Really Moves Air!

Pros: This fan is extremely loud but the main reason I bought it was to push it. It makes an amazing intake fan for my case but can be loud so make sure you can hook it up to a motherboard controlled fan output so it does not run at full speed all the time. This fan lowered the temperature in my case by several degrees!

Cons: Loud

5 out of 5 eggsGreat fans

Pros: -Move a lot of air
-Nice quality
-Decently price for the specs

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: It's not really a con, but they can be a bit louder I would say when you run them full speed, but then again you should know that when looking at the dBA. I've had these now for two years and haven't had any issues out of them.

5 out of 5 eggsBgears B-Blaster 120 120 mm Case Fan

2 out of 5 eggsNot long lasting

Pros: moves air pretty well, but I wasn't *that* impressed

Cons: Starts clacking/clicking about 11 months of ownership. I had to take out 3 out of 8 that I purchased. The value of these is significantly reduced due to this.

Other Thoughts: I have a "SILVERSTONE FM121 120mm Case Cooling Fan" That is over 5 years old and is still cranking. They cost $20 each, so I guess that is why. That fan is louder than this one, but just put a controller on it.

You typically get what you pay for with fans.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent fan

Pros: Moves a good amount of air with almost no noise. And for the price?! Cant beat that. Its nothing fancy but I use it as an exhaust fan so no need for that. Sturdy and well built.

Cons: None

1 out of 5 eggsBad Molex Adapters

Pros: The fans are quiet

Cons: I bought 10 of these fans, none of the molex adapters work. After some research i found that lots of folks are saying they wired them wrong.

Other Thoughts: The fans are cheap but you have the extra expense of replacing the molex adapters

5 out of 5 eggsVery Nice Exhaust Fan

Pros: Much air flow.

Many likes.

Comes with a 3 pin power connector for direct connection to the motherboard. Also comes with an adapter in case you don't have an extra connection on the motherboard that will connect to a molex adapter.

Quiet

Dropped CPU idle temperature by 3 to 5 Celsius. Was not running an exhaust fan before installing this.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Running an Intel i7 920 Overclocked to 3.6 ghz. Aftermarket copper heatsink and fan.

5 out of 5 eggsIncredible fan

Pros: These fans have extremely long life. I have 4 of them as CPU fans, and I've only had to replace them once in the last 4-6 years. So far, on average, they seem to last about 2 years with 24/7 use.

Cons: Unfortunately, these fans do not have a 4-pin connector for fan control, which would help out with the noise a bit.

Other Thoughts: While they have a good noise/CFM ratio, it could be better.
All told, I've probably used at least a dozen of these fans on various projects and have NEVER had ANY issue with them. My stock has run low again, and I'll likely be ordering another big batch soon-ish.

4 out of 5 eggsincomplete package resolved

Pros: Small package of 4 fan screws were missing in plastic packaging, and missing parts were immediately replaced by customer service.
Great customer service if you can stay on line for 8-10 minutes.

Cons: Still waiting for the fans crews to be delivered, other than that, I'm hopeful.

Other Thoughts: At lest for case fans, ball bearing fans are better than sleeve bearings, and DFB (dynamic fluid bearings), are just a variant of sleeve bearings, so ball bearings are always better and will last longer.

1 out of 5 eggsincomplete delivery

Pros: The case fans have bearings, and the fans came in a package, and the packages came in a box with packing material.

Cons: Each case fan package was supposed to contain the fan, a 3 to 4 pin Molex adapter, and a package of 4 fans screws. One box was missing the package of fan screws and looked like the corner of the packaging had been bent open to remove the screws.
Now I'm dealing with the RMA procedure.

Other Thoughts: I was told to buy ball bearing fans rather than sleeve bearing fans. I also found out by researching the term DFB, that I had seen on one package of case fans, refers to dynamic fluid bearings (DFB), which are just modified sleeve bearings, so I'll stick with ball bearing fans.
