4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: -Price
-Not too loud

Cons: -While its not too loud, it isn't the quietest fan quiet either. This doesn't bother me but if you want a completely silent rig you might want something else.

4 out of 5 eggsPretty good

Pros: The fans look nice, and seem to be built pretty well. They don't make any noise, but that's hard to tell since I have a lot of loud speakers.

Cons: If you're looking for more airflow/$1 look at some of the rosewill fans, I have 2 LED ones (Don't have Non-LED ones) that seam to push more air than these.

Other Thoughts: Other then the Cons these fans are pretty good. NZXT tends to make good products, would recommend to friends.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Price

Pros: Quiet
Cheap
Lengthy cable

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: They only become audible at around 60-65%. I have all mine running at a constant 40% and temps are still great. Really great performance, especially for the price. Recommended.

3 out of 5 eggsNormal, but one defective caught

Pros: Affordable

Cons: «one of the fans has a very noticeable "whirring" sound coming from the motor»

I have same thing here. I bought H2 case, and 1 fan (DF1202512RFLN) in front has this problem...

Other Thoughts: No longer I trust in the products of NZXT.

3 out of 5 eggsITs ok

Pros: Color scheme
high quality Sleeve cable.
Long enough.
Rifle Bearing.
Lasting long so far.
Moves a lot of air

Cons: It was kinda loud. Not too much but not too quiet.

Other Thoughts: It moves enough air with a 7volt - 5 volt adapter.

3 out of 5 eggsDecent.

Pros: - Great construction, those speculating NZXT's quality need not apply here. Solid feeling fan and I love the black & white scheme.
- Comes with a nicely sleeved three pin connector and an optional three pin to four pin molex extension.
- Maxes out at 1260 RPM on 12 volts and can be dialed down to as low as 420 RPM on 5 volts.
- Rifle bearings are great for mounting fans horizontally.
- Moves a respectable amount of air at higher RPMs.

Cons: The sounds consistency with these fans vary. Not just the sound generated by the moving air, but the fan motor itself. I have two of these both mounted as intake and exhaust with rubber mounts and one of the fans has a very noticeable "whirring" sound coming from the motor. The other is completely silent with the exception of moving air.

Other Thoughts: Not sure if it's the rifle bearings, but inconsistent sounds turn me away from this fan. I am fanatical about silence and noise. Some who consider their system quiet I would consider intolerable, I need absolute silence when I'm not gaming. I also absolutely love black & white fans so I decided to give NZXT a try. Though not completely disappointed I'm not nearly as satisfied.

Manufacturer Response:

Thank you for purchasing our line of fans. You may contact us at service@nzxt.com about any problems you may be experiencing with our products. As for the fan causing the "whirring", it could be a motor problem. Send us an email and we will resolve that problem.
