3 out of 5 eggsOk

Pros: Great for vertical use (blows a ton of air and silent to boot), LEDs look nice.

Cons: Using the fan horizontally makes the fan rattle. Unsure on whether this is an isolated problem or a bearing type/fan size problem. Unfortunately, this means I can't use it for my intended purpose.

Manufacturer Response:

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: -TRUE 200mm fan that has amazing airflow.
-Blue LED looks nice. It's nice and blue not washed out at all
-QUIET
-Nice and sturdy feeling.

Cons: You have to have the LED light switcher plugged in, in order to have the LED's on. This is annoying! It's one more cable to hide and i've docked an egg for that. Who buys LED fans to turn them off?

Price.

Other Thoughts: Other than the LED light this fan is pretty much amazing. It's sleeved with this slighty sticky sleeving that's all black.

I'm going to purchase 2 more of these in the future to go for the top fans in my new phantom 530 case.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Case Fans

Pros: What else can I say? These fans look great, feel good, sleeved cables, very quiet, great air flow...I couldn't think of a way to improve them. I really like the shade and brightness of the blue LEDs as well.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Just realize that these are TRUE 200mm fans versus others that are usually 193mm. That means unless a case was designed with these in mind, the holes probably won't line up. My Phantom 820 obviously was because there are two sets of screw mounts for either 200mm fan at each location, but since it's a newer case by NZXT that make sense. If you don't mind drilling your own holes though, then it may not be a problem anyway.

5 out of 5 eggsNZXT FZ20S-U1 200mm Blue led fan

Pros: Very quiet, moves lots of air, well constructed!!

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: This fan was fitted in my Antec 1200 V3 rig in place of the bigboy fan.Went in pretty easy but i had to ziptie it in place. You cannot see the zipties because they are hidden.I like it much better than the big boy.Installation wasn't as bad as i thought.

3 out of 5 eggsCrazy bright, nice shade of blue but it has a couple issues

Pros: Plenty bright, this shade of blue matches my Corsair mouse and keyboard perfectly, easy to install.

Cons: Power button is sticky and the brightness switch seems to have a loose connection.

Other Thoughts: The end result, visually, is awesome. Really lights up my NZXT Phantom 630 beautifully. I installed it last night and just could not stop looking at my case afterward. It really looks great. And the LED's on any setting (high/med/low) are as bright as I can imagine anybody wanting.

What makes this a 3 egg review instead of 5 eggs is the controller.

For one thing, the power button is "sticky". For example when I turn it off, the lights turn off but the button doesn't fully click into its outward "off" position, so when I want to turn it back on, I need to press it in and release it a couple times, basically fiddle with it for a bit, in order to return it to its off position, and then press it in once more to get it into its "on" position.

The other issue is the brightness switch seems to have a loose connection. It has three settings (low/med/high). The high position is fine, but when switching to medium or low the lights will usually cut out and you have to slightly wiggle the switch to get them back on. At least once they're on, they're on, there's no randomly cutting out, so there's that. I'm ok at soldering and could maybe fix that (not sure as I haven't closely inspected the controller) but I shouldn't have to, and I won't be messing around with the settings much anyway. But still, their mechanical elements (the brightness switch and the power button) need some QC or perhaps a different supplier, and this knocks it down to 3 eggs instead of 5.

4 out of 5 eggsZe Fan

Pros: Looks cool and the only noise generated is the air blowing

Cons: I had troubled fitting it into my NZXT Phantom full tower case. The holes didn't line up at all, I had to use a small drill and add a hole to make it sit correctly, Lost a egg because of the troubles fitting
